They probably had the most amazing start to their relationship, and would immediately draw you in. They’d be in love. Inseparable. The kind of couple that’s young and beautiful and passionate and everyone they know thinks they’ll be together forever, or crash and burn hard in 2 months. And over the course of their story, you’d hope that it’s the first. Yeah, maybe they get a little toxic, a bit violent, but they’re young — surely they can fix it? Be happy? And then as time goes on, you slowly get your heart broken as you remember this is a prequel. They’ve been doomed from the start

Part 2

After a while, an ambulance arrived, followed by the police and firefighters. Everything happened in a frenzy—there were many people, a lot of noise; it all felt like a blur. From the police conversations, Sebastian understood that the boy he was holding had been kidnapped by his father’s enemies along with his twin brother a month ago. Sebastian began to recall this; he had heard about it on the news—about the unfortunate children of some politician—but he hadn’t paid attention, dismissing it as silly fuss. Now he felt ashamed. The boy pressed closer to him, hugging him tightly as if Sebastian was his last hope, muttering something indistinct. It was unclear how much time passed as they sat there while crowds of people passed by. Four bodies were carried out of the house. One belonged to a child. As it grew dark, an expensive car arrived with a large security detail. Three people got out: a woman with blonde hair and blue eyes, a tall man with broken ice in his eyes, and another woman with deep red hair. Both women struggled to hold back tears and wanted to embrace the boy, but… he turned away from them, muttering even more about “Ciel.” The three adults sighed heavily, lost and unsure of what to do. In the end, Rachel, the boy’s mother, suggested that Sebastian come with them, seeing that her son was much calmer with the stranger. The young man had no choice but to agree. After all, he had nowhere else to go...

Vincent Phantomhive's birthday (June 13, 1851)

It is Vincent's birthday today!

Give him congratulations - even if he doesn't comb his hair as he should! (Have some mercy on your older brother, Francis...^^')

Time for some trivia!

Vincent was born on a Friday the 13th in 1851, and his mother Cloudia died on one in 1866 (July 13)!

Yana always keeps in mind to draw him differently depending on the person who is recollecting him:

In the same post, Yana briefly ponders over Tanaka's influence on Vincent as,

"There's that old saying 'One's foster parents have more influence on the child than one's real parents.': Ciel became an extreme sadist due to Sebastian's education in the last three years and it seems like the evil blood in him [*the evil side of his personality] was completely awakened [by Sebastian]. But if we consider the possibility that Vincent might have been brought up by Tanaka-san, that old guy must be quite...... oh I'd rather stop here." (Archived blog post/Translation)

Yana once tweeted that "because his wife was young, *papa [*Vincent] would [try to] make himself look younger." (Translation) However, Angelina's anime character sheet states her to be "32-34" in 1888, placing her birth sometime between 1854 and 1856. As Rachel is her older sister, Rachel's last possible birth year is 1855 which means that she could, at most, be four years younger than Vincent.

In the official character guide, Vincent is described as a "doting father" who must have loved Ciel very much. (Character Guide, page 121)

From his character guide sketch, it seems as if Yana considered giving Vincent long hair which he would keep tied up with a bow. (Character Guide, page 121)

Vincent appears in "With Father!" by Yana Toboso in the Rainbow Butler 2 anthology. In that non-canon story, he talks about wanting to have a daughter too, and remarks that she could never be an idol though as Phantomhive women are all "strong-willed."

This is not the anthology story he appears in: "Elastic" by Hajime Kirino features him as well. (Scanlation: Part 1/Part 2) In it, Kirino provides a possible answer to the question, "How did Vincent make Undertaker laugh to obtain information from him?"

and y’know whats really crazy to think about? javon walton and aidan gallagher were like 2 years apart in age when they played stanley and five

was watching some bts clips from season 3 and stumbled upon a video of them playing pool together in full costume and it’s actually like the sweetest thing in the world because they’re literally just kids. just having a good time

and then you watch the show and it’s like “okay so one of them actually is a little kid who’s just trying to have fun and one is a stressed, angry old man who’s desperately trying to save the lives of everyone on the planet”

also i edited together a little video of it because i really wish we’d gotten even one five and stan moment and there’s a bit of a hole left in my heart from its lacking so here is that

An "Everyone Lives" but everything still goes wrong in some way AU / You've Changed AU

Phantomhive Family all lives but O! Ciel (Smile) is separated from R! Ciel (just Ciel) and sold to a different group of cultists

He still summons Sebastian and the contract is still made since he wants revenge

but, Smile doesn't return home and instead takes on a different name (to be determined)

he goes about his life with Sebastian at his side as they try to uncover what happened that night at the Phantomhive manor

as times goes on, their journey leads them to meet Finny, Mey-Rin, Bard and the Circus Trope

Smile also begins to uncover murders happening in the lower in-come parts of London, he's quick to get himself into the underground ring

while no one knows of his face, many people call him "The Hellhound" because of his ruthless nature and how he's been able to uncover any crimes that he comes across (he can hold his own in a fight, Sebastian wasn't about to raise his son meal to be reliant on him)

during a party, Ciel and Lizzie run into Smile, shocked but overjoyed Ciel hurries over and hugs his brother tightly

unfortunately, Smile pushes Ciel away and glares at him before telling him never to do that again and walks off

when Vincent and Rachel hear about this they go to find Smile and are shocked to see the estate he's living on along with the odd servants that stand beside him

they try to convince him to come home, but Smile is adamant that he's to stay where he is

Sebastian is quick to keep Vincent and Rachel at arms length, stating that the young lord has made up his mind and that they should get going

he's polite, but does not enjoy these two getting in the way of him raise cultivating his son meal

this leads into Vincent and Sebastian often clashing with each other, which just embarrasses Smile as it feels like he's in a custody dispute

Or you could stay they named him Stan after his not-brother-but-still-brother.

I refuse to forget this kid like the writers for season 4 did (I literally do not see this kid after this scene, even during the train station scene I swear they forgot he existed... Like Stan).
