I found this beautiful mid century/ retro night stand at Habitat for Humanity in Honolulu for $30!! What a steal! So I decided to purchase and bring it back to life. This piece is available on @shoplazycactus vía IG.

Etched mirrors are tacky unless they are gorgeous like this one! I was thrifting with a friend and drove about 35 minutes to explore new stores and I crossed paths with this mirror. I must have been scoping it out for about 10 minutes. I was trying so hard to picture it in my living room and couldn’t get a convincing image so I decide I’m not going to buy it. As soon as I got home my mind started racing with inspo and visions that included this mirror. I legit could not get it out of my head. I kind of freaked out cause it was only $8 and I should have brought it home with me. I mean whats the worse that could happen? I don’t like the look and resell it. I felt so silly for not taking the risk so I returned the following day. I was nervous that it would be gone. It was a long 35 minute drive. My heart was pounding as I walked my way to the back of the store to see if it was still there and low and behold it was! Almost as if it was waiting for me haha! Well this is it. It looks a bit plain Jane now but I am hunting for vintage wall decor. Stay tuned for an updated pic in the future. Love this find!

I give myself enough time to browse at thrift stores before I go to work because why not? Its my way of giving myself a pick me up and it brings me so much joy and who doesn’t like to go into work happy? So I popped into a Salvation Army after realizing that the thrift store I initially wanted to go to was closed and I’m so glad it was because I ended up snagging this retro beauty at a discounted price! I’m working on redecorating my home to give it a 60s/70s vibe and I think this nailed it! ahhh such a good day *sips on tea*
Note: I did some research and discovered this is a Vladimir Kagan snail coffee table that sells between 3K-6K online!!

I started looking at pictures of abstract vases to get inspo for my paintings and i became OBSESSED. I realized I was over looking all these beautiful shapes around me and figured hm, I’m going to get something similar for the shop and share it to see what happens. What happened? This beautiful baby blue glazed terra-cotta vase sold! It was my favorite for a while and as you can see in my introduction post, I took a picture with it. Yup, I liked it that much I had to get a pose with it. The contrast of its color against bamboo made it stand out perfectly and compatible in a boho home. its blend with other mid century decor was dreamy as well. The cherry on top to its perfection, was its shape. Truly one of a kind.

Talk about unique! I recently sold this rattan bike that could be used as a small plant pot holder. Sharing it’s beauty with you was a must!
