the girl and the dog. oil on canvas, 2020. i made this as a commision for a friend of mine who ownes a thrift store named Prisløs, in Trondheim, norway (they have since relocated to oslo). the painting is based on a true story, and depicts an unusual customer who brought a whole lot of clothes into the fitting room. after being in there for a long time, she ran out of there, now with a dog that no-one in the store saw enter with her. apparently it was in her backpack, which by this point was filled with clothes she didn't intend to pay for. as far as i know she got away with it, good for her. i hope she and her dog is doing alright.

last night on the bridge (title). oil on cardboard, 2021. as you might be able to imagine, i was not in a good place mentally when i made this, dealing with a very unstable housing situation, poverty and a bout of depression.

sleepless summer night. oil on cardboard, 2020.
i used to live close to a graveyard overlooking the farmland to the south, where i often went for walks at night.
the trails around the graveyard were lit by dim streetlights, shining across the field, giving this scene it's peculiar lighting.
