“oh, fuck off muhfucka’.” 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 replied chuckling some watching as his sister made herself comfortable in the booth sitting across from him. the male pressed the lock button on his device before sitting it down on the table sucking his teeth at the mention of his son. “it’s never how legend doin’ everybody go straight to junior, that’s crazy. nah but he’s good though, coo’ as hell just like his pops. he been asking to facetime you but I told him TT been busy as hell, he don’t like that so you should probably call him soon before you get cut off. he has his ipad now so remind me to give you the info so you can call him. how you been though? how’s this social shit treatin’ you?”

i’ve been contemplating on responding to you cause truthfully I ain’t fuckin’ with how you been coming at me lately like i’m a fuckin’ child. how I choose to wear my hair, the clothes I choose to wear and who I fuckin’ wanna be with has nothing to do with you pops.. nothing. there’s hella’ shit going on that you of all people need to be focused on considering there’s some snake shit happening underneath ya’ nose. anyway, prince and I are tryna’ figure out what to do so when you’re done acting like a bitch and have some solid advice, hit my phone. being that they had been spending so much time getting to know their love interests, it left minimal moments to converse with their family members so 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 wanted to take some time out of his busy schedule to have lunch with his younger sister and catch up on things with her. picking one of their favorite seafood restaurants, 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 parked his car outside and headed inside of the building requesting a booth to accommodate him and his sister. “the usual.” he said to the waitress knowing she would know his choice of beverage due to the extensive amount of times he had eaten at the restaurant both with and without his siblings. He waited patiently for 𝐒𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐍𝐀 to arrive while he gave his notifications his attention for the moment. ( @siennaz )

“hmm, aigh’ I guess you got a point there.” 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 told the female nodding his head as he lightly chewed on his bottom lip instantly regretting how much he had shared about his thoughts - not because he didn’t want her to know but because he hated steering away from being the confident person he usually was. the thoughts that bounced around in his head came to a halt once the female encouraged and joked around with him; something he definitely needed and appreciated in that moment. her sense of humor and the way she spoke to him was two of the main reasons he gravitated toward her, outside of her beauty of course. “not you peeped my lul’ dance, I be tryna’ do a lil’ sum but I know my strengths and jiggin’ successfully really ain’t one of em’.” the male chuckled as he shrugged his shoulders in a nonchalant manner. 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 peeped her facial expression after they had took their shots and smiled at her statement rubbing the side of his face before he replied. “ahhh shit, my fault. imma’ teach you so you can say it moving forward but you can’t be putting other people on, that’s law.” now fully prepared for his performance, 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 stood to his feet and began walking away from the female before he was stopped abruptly after she had called out to him. allowing her to pull him back, he anticipated her next move and watched as she quickly stood to her feet. knowing where things were headed due to her demeanor, 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 leaned in to kiss her back and although the moment didn’t last long, he was satisfied with it. grazing his lips with his tongue, he locked eyes with the female for a moment before he pointed at her and nodded his head. “thank you, baby girl. see you after..” he trailed off heading to the dressing room.

𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 squinted his eyes at the female before chuckling and shaking his head at her words once she claimed she had forgotten the routine. “you full of shit, you know that, right?” he questioned the female rhetorically before nodding his head at her suggestion. “you know what, though? that might actually be a great idea.. my vocals, ya’ moves.. definitely think it’ll be a vibe — that’s if I can even concentrate.” once the femme pointed out the fact that he was nervous, he turned away from her taking a few gulps of the alcoholic beverage to calm his nerves before locking eyes with her again. “damn, is it really that obvious? to be honest I thought I was handling it well, but chea’. I mean, it’s been a minute since i’ve hit the stage so I get worried ‘bout the smallest shit like my ear monitors slipping out and not being able to hear myself.. could slick say that shit gave me ptsd when it first happened.” 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 stated remembering the way he felt in his earlier performances at the start of his career. as she teased him he nudged her before holding his middle finger up and parting his lips to respond. “aw shut up, but nah that actually does make me feel a lot better.. i’ll be looking for you in the crowd anyway.” he told her accepting her offer to take a shot before his performance. grabbing the shot glass full of crown, he held it up. “to good vibes and happy lives.. drink muhfucka’ drink.” a saying he had been used to reciting anytime liquor was involved - a habit he adapted from his older cousins.

nervous about his performance, 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 spent more time at the bar than he originally intended to. after finishing up he made his way back over to the bar area asking for another drink as he sat on the stool watching as his next drink was being made. after hearing the female’s voice, 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 immediately turned to face her with a wide grin on his features. when she mentioned her performance from earlier, he couldn’t seem to wipe the grin off of his face and in fact, it grew wider in that moment. “hell yeah I enjoyed it, you did ya’ thing out there. so good that I think imma’ have to ask for an encore.. just us, though.” he told her as a smirk formed on his lips before grabbing the drink the bartender had just sat in front of him. “you drinking tonight? what you want?”

“damn, it’s been a minute since my last performance. yall got my sound right?” 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 questioned a few people on his team about various things he was concerned about before his performance. being the perfectionist he tended to be, he wanted to make sure everything ran smoothly so that all he would have to worry about was his vocals and arrangement. Placing the ear monitors in his ears, 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 took the time to pray before he began humming the lyrics to the song he would be performing. By now, he could hear his sister on stage which let him know he was up next and he practiced breathing exercises to shake off any nerves he felt in the moment. “know it’s been awhile since you left I been solo. now you like to dance, I went ham on ya’ photos.” 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 sung as he looked in the mirror making sure his outfit looked good and he didn’t have anything on his face. “aigh’ i’m ready, let’s get it. call, call! just call… call onnnn me!”

𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 sat there in awe during and after the femme’s performance and if he could admit it, situations like this only made him more curious about her and where things could possibly go between them. 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 was without a doubt physically attracted to the female and wanted to explore more of that at a later date. Once she was finished, he got up from the seat he was sitting in and headed toward the bar area. “yea’ , imma’ need a drink..” he announced to no one in particular. “if we disappear tonight, mind yall business respectfully.”

“c’mon nie, you don’t even believe that shit. we both know i’m ‘bout everything I say imma’ do but imma’ let you have it, ion’ got nothing to prove truth be told.” 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 boasted with a sense of confidence in his tone and demeanor. He occasionally turned his attention to the children as well making sure things were going well with them as they interacted with each other as well as other children at the park. Though he found her statement about not wanting to share humorous, he couldn’t help but think about how hard it would probably be to break his son out of said behaviors. “nah you probably right, I guess I better start sleeping with one eye open since i’ve unintentionally gained hella’ enemies in the house. I feel it though, yall had a lul’ moment.. wish I was there to see that shit especially if it was anything like those tik tok videos of parents crying while the baby looks at them like they’ve lost their mind — priceless. full disclosure? i’ve had some of those same moments with lul’ legend. dealing with a needy toddler after a long ass day of work definitely isn’t for the weak, only the strong survive so consider ya’ self one of the strong ones. but shittt yeah, look at ha’ moms.. of course she gon’ be fly. a mini put that shit on? ain’t that what you call ya’ self?” 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 questioned the femme chuckling lightly before shifting his focus once she hopped off of the bench to tend to the toddler who had seemingly fallen down. Once she walked the younger male over to the bench, 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 allowed her to handle things since he could tell the toddler felt safe in her care and she was doing a good job consoling him. A genuine smile played upon the male’s features, nodding his head as he reached over to grab the cup of ice cream handing it to her. “looks that way, baby girl.” He told her giving the other toddler his attention as she made her way over to the bench after awhile. “you aigh’ lul’ mama? you want your ice cream too huh?” He questioned handing it over to her.

“yeaaah, I do. losing that bet by default the other day been blowing me and I just knew I was gon’ win and get that massage but the universe was like nah, g. I did have fun catering to you, though.” 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 admitted shrugging his shoulders some as he enjoyed more of the dippin’ dots before scooping up some and holding the spoon up to the femme’s lips again sharing the last of the treat with her. “trust me, a nigga already peeped you don’t like to listen. however, i’m more than capable of making you do just that but again, story for another day.” 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 wasn’t the controlling type at all but he knew when and how to demand what he wanted and was also more than confident that the femme would submit to him in those appropriate moments. “you joked out, ain’t you? ain’t nobody the feds, shut up. i’m just letting you know I ain’t goin’ down cause he definitely gon’ take everything out on me since he likes you better. I ain’t trippin’ though, ion’ think he hates me or anything but I know I ain’t his best friend either and that’s coo’ cause junior would be at my neck anyway. not you was crying though, yeen tell me all’at.” 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 replied looking over at the female in disbelief. “not the one who sweaaa’ she ain’t a cry baby was letting a two year old take her there, that’s crazy.” He teased knowing she would retaliate which was something he enjoyed. The verbal sparring was a nice touch to their growing bond and he always found it to be entertaining. Shaking his head at her reaction to his words, 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 scoffed and got up walking over to the trash bin dropping the cup that once held his ice cream into the garbage. “nah but all jokes aside, that’s good. glad you were able to kinda’ see how that feels. shit hits different when you got a lul’ human depending on you. even better when you get to share that experience with someone else.”

“not you gon’ be snoring, yeen no good shorty.” 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 replied with laughter knowing she was joking and would be fully attentive regardless of how tired either of them were. He could tell she was getting tired and since the children were in fact a handful, he wanted to make sure she had some time to regroup and take some time to herself seeing as she had been doing majority of the work if he could be completely honest. “yeah, not gon’ lie it’s an experience. I remember my first time getting on that shit I thought I was gon’ fall out or some wild shit but it’s fun.. maybe when we come back we can make another bet, I think that’ll make you wanna try it out.” 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 added smiling as the female’s eyes lit up upon tasting the treat he had just shared with her. “I know I do but it’s all good cause you like that shit which is an automatic win for me. maybe this will teach you to listen to me, I wouldn’t steer you wrong. i’m glad you like it though cause I was honestly more than prepared to judge the fuck outta’ you if you didn’t. tell you what though, when they start asking where they ice cream went i’m most definitely snitching cause I ain’t dealing with armani’s attitude tonight, that’s all you.” He told her shaking his head as he thought about how difficult it had been for him to connect with the child. “real shit though, I appreciate you putting ya’ all into this lul’ challenge and shit. you really been everything they needed this week I think and your effort definitely ain’t going unnoticed. ion’ know how you got in good standings with armani but I commend you for it. you really kinda’ goated with this mom shit - ya’ future kids gon’ be lucky as hell.”

𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 couldn’t help but burst into laughter upon hearing the female’s words. To be truthful, the visual of him actually getting into the smaller pool had him geeked out as well considering how overgrown he would look compared to the age group it was intended for. 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 watched carefully as she interacted with the children they were taking care of together and smiled softly to himself. Being a father changed his perspective in so many ways and though he didn’t want to come off as the type that tried to make every woman he was interested in jump into mommy mode; he always paid close attention to the ones who seemed like a good fit for him and his son. Ultimately, it was too early to tell if the two of them would get to that point in their situation but those were qualities he searched for and paid attention to early on regardless of the situation at hand. “hopefully I didn’t mess up too bad giving them this damn ice cream. I think once they play in this water enough it won’t even matter how much sweets they had, they gon’ be ready to KO.” 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 voiced shrugging his shoulders some as he sat down on one of the benches available keeping his eyes on the children for a moment as they took off upon leaving the femme’s side. “you got a point though, I was hoping to at least hit the jawn where the floor opens up and drops you down the tube, one of my faves fasho. if not, we definitely gotta plan to come back — I mean if you still rockin’ with me by then.” The male expressed before eating more of his dippin’ dots before raising a brow at her question. “taste whaaaa?” 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 smirked just before grazing his bottom lip with his oral muscle quickly and smiling nodding his head as he proceeded to scoop some of the ice cream up holding the spoon up to the femme’s lips for her to taste some. “now if you actually like it imma’ fight you cause I dead could’ve just got you some... now it’s a long ass line.”

“’preciate you, love.” 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 said to the cashier as he grabbed the dippin’ dots he had just purchased for the kids and 𝐀𝐙𝐔𝐑𝐄 handing each of them their own cup that contained the flavor they wanted with a spoon. 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 took the time to eat some of his before he turned his attention to the female nudging her playfully as a wide grin crept onto his features. “not gon’ hold you it’s been a lul’ minute since i’ve been on a big ass water slide. I might have to start in the kiddy pool first.” 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃 joked as laughter escaped his duo. “nah but on a serious note, how we really finna’ enjoy this shit with the lul’ ones around? you got a solid plan?”  ( @mcrganz )
