he makes eye contact with pearl to let her know that he hears her ( and is choosing to ignore her), and continues to paw at the bedding. a pillow still hanging from his mouth, once the blankets have made contact with the ground, he turns his head to stare at her again.

       The pale gem shouts, frantically making her way over to the feline. She had just finished tidying up Steven’s room, she didn’t need the lion messing it up again.

he purrs loudly.

     …..pets him with ALL of her hands.

he lifts his paws in a rare and compelling demand request that his stomach be pet.

my sister thinks that the cookie cat song is backstory for lion. ex; “he came to this planet from outer space.” “refugee of an interstellar war.”

this one is new. she is not the pearl lion is used to. and it is an unusual display of interest as he pads closer to her, eyes intently focused on the petite, unfamiliar pearl.

oh, this was a mistake.lion paws at the tube stuck to his muzzle, huffing and making other frustrated sounds as he throws his head with the rest of his weight in attempts to free himself. ears twitch in acknowledgement of the gem’s presence, but otherwise ignores her to focus on the much more pressing matter at hand.
