💖+ andy and minki Officially

there’s  no  BIG  MOMENT,  when  andy  does  it.  

maybe  it’s  a  little  ironic,  considering  how  andy  exists  very  LOUDLY  in  all  aspects  of  his  life;  he  was  loud  in  high  school,  loud  on  the  football  lead,  and  now  ––  even  when  he’s  not  where  everyone  expected  him  to  be  at  this  point  ––  he’s  loud  in  his  study  group  of  friends,  in  community  college  where  he  finally  feels  like  he  takes  up  space  because  he  wants  to,  not  because  he  has  to.

he  figured,  at  some  point,  he  WOULD  ask  minki  out  (  officially,  and  not  just  that  let’s  just  milkshakes  sometime  type  beat  )  with  some  grand  gesture.  maybe  he’d  ask  yumi  to  teach  him  a  dance  he  could  perform  for  minki.  maybe  he’d  bring  him  to  one  of  those  fancy  restaurants  minki  always  mentioned  he  couldn’t  afford.  ideas  upon  ideas  swirled  ‘round  his  head  unrelenting,  and  for  a  long  time  he  thought  he’d  never  be  able  to  decide,  thinking  grand  gesture  after  grand  gesture  up  in  his  head.

but  maybe  that’s  where  the  thing  with  him  and  minki  comes  different,  from  everything  else  he’s  had  in  his  life  ––  because  their  relationship  doesn’t  need  the  BIG  MOMENTS.  it  relies  on  the  little  ones:  the  way  minki  blushes  when  andy  compliments  him,  the  way  they’ll  share  a  smile  and  high  five  when  they  win  at  game  night  against  yumi  and  yeseul  ––

the  way  his  fingers  not  so  subtly  walk  right  into  minki’s  hand  and  linger,  for  as  long  as  minki’ll  let  him.

so  now,  when  they’re  walking  out  of  the  same  milkshake  place  they’ve  visited  time  and  time  again,  andy  looks  at  minki  when  the  sun  is  about  to  set  and  says,  before  he  can  overthink  himself,  “let’s  go  on  a  date,  honey.”

and  when  minki  drops  his  hand  only  to  use  it  to  cover  how  red  his  face  is,  when  minki  squeaks  out  a  s  ––  sure,  totally  !!, andy  definitely  thinks  this  is  another  little  moment  to  remember.

🕯️ yumi and yesEUL

yeseul  likes  to  know  things  before  they  happen.  that’s  just  how  she’s  always  been  ––  never  one  for  distractions,  or  being  deterred  from  routines  she’s  built  for  herself  over  time.  and  maybe  it’s  made  her  a  little  cold  ––  a  little  UNWELCOMING  ––  but  yeseul  can  live  with  that,  finding  it  better  to  be  rigid  rather  than  caught  off  guard.

but  all  yumi  DOES  is  catch  her  off  guard,  from  the  enthusiastic  good  morning  and  good  night  texts  to  the  constant  bouts  of  affection,  to  the  way  she’s  nestled  so  COMFORTABLY  into  yeseul’s  life  after  persistently  worming  her  way  in.  like  now  ––  when  yeseul  comes  home  after  a  long  day  at  school  to  find  yumi  already  preparing  dinner  by  candlelight  ––  just  because  she  felt  like  it.

yeseul  likes  to  know  things  before  they  happen,  but  if  surprises  come  in  the  shape  of  yumi,  well  ––  she  finds  it  rather  difficult  to  say  no.  

and  when  she  sits  at  the  table  to  listen  to  yumi  rattle  on  about  her  day,  she  can  feel  her  heart  of  ice  slowly  begin  to  THAW.

this is just a lil announcement to say i’m going to be taking a little break from tumblr for awhile !! i’m in a really bad place mentally and my life is really .. not good ?? right now ,, and being on here has just been making me feel worse recently, so i just think it’s best that i take some time away and focus on school, work, my family, my friends, and myself. this break may extend to discord as well - as in, i’ll likely be fairly selective with who i talk to on there. i apologize for all the new partners i have that are waiting on replies or ooc messages from me, and all the new threads i just recently started. when i’m feeling a little more like myself, i’ll be hopping right back on to talk and rp with you all once more !! sorry again. ♡
