   ❝  I must say . . . it proves rather bold to request an audience with The Pirate Court , I trust that you have something worth our while . . . hm ? ❞ The feminine voice echoed through the halls of the makeshift courthouse , once a place where despaired souls were auctioned off to the highest of bidders . . . having undergone a metamorphosis of diplomacy , even if it was amongst pirate gangs who could wipe one another off the surface of Runeterra should any lines be proven crossed .

    Keys proved freshly cut , their metal composition gleaming in the rays of sun that managed to make their way downward towards the rear of the cathedral . . . the tolling of bells mere minutes prior providing utmost confidence that no wandering eyes should stumble this way , least not for the next two hours of the morning . If there were ever a more opportune time to infiltrate its walls and carry out her contract ? Well , such a moment was inconceivable to the assassin in question .

     It wouldn't take long for her to discover the proper key that would establish intimacy with the inner mechanisms that composed the lock ; with a simple flick of her wrist ? The entranceway would swing open , eliciting a devious smirk to appear on the woman's face . . . perhaps when this affair proved concluded , she should return to the inn and show her appreciation to the none-the-wiser security guard that was achieving what was probably his best night's sleep in the warmth of her bed . . . or mayhaps she would make haste away from the city ? Leaving the poor young man confused and without a doubt jobless indeed .

     But aimless thoughts about the previous night's conquests were neither here nor were they there in this moment . . . the task before her still as crystal as her reflection in an off the assembly line mirror . With her entry granted , and the rustlings of morning service faint in the distance ? Time proved of the absolute essence ; with the door closing behind her ? She would adjust the stolen tie on the guard uniform she was adorned in and make herself strut deeper into the halls that laid behind the areas that were accessible to the public .

     Few faces were present during her journey , and all of which seemed to pay no mind in being duped by her disguise . . . after all , even a woman in uniform is free to access the wisdom of The Lord , right ? At least , that's what they most likely thought with the passing glances exchanged with her . . . unaware of her lack of faith , nor her true intentions for being here ; if they had proven slightly privy to either of these notions . . . the situation the assassin would find herself in would prove much more chaotic and fun that she would like to engage in .

I know that face claims are a popular thing with Tumblr roleplay, and I typically don't like to do them because you never know who is gonna end up being a shitty person BUT I decided to throw away my conventions and give it a go.

As I talked about in a previous musings post my version of Sarah for modern verses is going to be not white and instead tie into descent that surrounds the Caribbean / South American regions of the globe.

While it'll be cool as hell to see full fledged naval battles animated by Fortiche, and see Sarah in animation... I just want to set the record straight right now that my MF is going to continue to stay in a gray area that doesn't adhere fully to either legacy lore or the new Arcane canon.

I'll happily play with both legacy and Arcane timelines, but I won't be sacrificing any of the portrayal I have going here for it.
