layla chuckled, waving it away. “trust me, you aren’t the first one to not know my name. i’m pretty quiet, though, and i stick behind the scenes but i’m excited to be working with you! if you need anything, let me know. i know you’re a mom so you’re gonna be busy doing every single job but that’s why i’m here.” she rambled. layla hadn’t stopped smiling since she walked in, and she thoroughly enjoyed the vibe of the party. good vibes smacked her in her face but she wouldn’t want anything more. “thank you for inviting me, and you’re welcome! hopefully everything works out fine, i just kinda bought what my mom suggested.”

“Layla! There we go! I’m so sorry. There’s been so much going on at the company that I can’t keep up. I’m one of the presidents so we’ll be working together a lot but thank you so much for coming!” Kai rambled on before stopping herself. She’d been some overwhelmed with the amount of people who attended, it seemed like she hadn’t stopped talking since she entered the home. Taking the box from the young lady, her face lit up with a brief smile. “Aw, thank you! I can let you know for sure this is gonna be handy in the future. I wish we could’ve had some more time to talk.”

pleased by the woman’s manners, LAYLA smiled even wider. “yeah, that would be me.” she chuckled. “i’m layla, it’s nice to meet you as well! congratulations, by the way! you look gorgeous.” her vision fell down to the box in her hand before it hit her that it was a present. “oh, i almost forgot. i got a little something. it’s just hella bottles for her milk, diapers and wipes. and some clothes. there’s also a $200 gift card to babies ‘r us. i know babies are expensive but i’m hoping that covers a lot.” the young woman chuckled again.

dressed in a very simple outfit, LAYLA sashayed into the event with a box in her hand. she was more than likely the youngest member to the NEW WAVES team, and she was always very shy when she had come in contact with the older workers. her lipgloss covered lips were tucked into her mouth as her heels clacked on the floor with every step. she smiled at the person who greeted her, waving as she started up a conversation.
