Imagine. You are just a humble farmer. One night, after a long, hard day at work, you're driving home, only for your truck to be surrounded by badniks. Younare terrified, you've heard the horror stories, you've seen the news reports, you know what this could mean for you and your friends. You're trying to be brave, getting ready to fight, and then suddenly something slams into your side, and the world disappears into a swirl of colour and wind in your ears. It stops in a matter of seconds, and now you're on some hill and Sonic the Hedgehog, the world famous renowned hero, is in front of you, barking orders. You had no idea he was nearby - in fact, earlier that evening you saw on social media he was several countries away. Your friends are on the ground next to you, groaning. You can only stammer out a "yes sir" before he takes off running. You have no idea where your truck is

Sometimes I wonder how people see these two interact without some sort of conflict. Seeing how rarely they interact at all, i would like to add my own headcanon take on their dynamic.

Cream is a pacifist with a gentle touch, she rarely lifts a finger to harm others, and is more focused on helping others. She's very open to making new friends and tries her best to be a source of hope and joy in others.

Omega is built to be a murder machine, with a sense of pride in his work about destroying Eggman robots. Combative and headstrong, the only friends he considers are those with similar moral ambiguity. It's hard for him to make new acquaintances.

Cream's more idealistic views would clash with Omega's pragmatism, especially since one actively enjoys a fight, he would have little reason to respect Cream. Not to mention, he's not programed to follow Cream's orders.

I can see both of them would not like to be around each other. Cream would do her best to be polite and nice, but would leave the chance she gets. I can see Omega getting in trouble for making the rabbit girl sad, and would begrudgingly be passive around her. And when action calls, he wouldn't listen to her.

omega is the most reliable member of team dark because as long as you accomidate his goal of destroying eggman and his robots he'll help you out no problem.
