to my leafy and the tea cup anon (re: the convo about blorbos and the film industry) i swear to you that the film industry is filled with fucking nerds and if you would like to get in your best bet is through Atlanta, Georgia (it’s the new Hollywood tbh) but word of warning it will ruin some actors/actresses for you because friends in the industry will tell you stories about them while you’re watching a movie. the first hand tea I have on some famous actors is completely worth the price of film school tbh -🦋

About your last post, I think that the future of movies is going to move towards creating meow meow and blorbo characters the more the people who got into film and tv through media that included those types of characters grow up and join the film industry. For me, someone who wants to get into the film industry in some shape or form, characters that I thoroughly enjoy watching now, are no doubt going to portrayed somehow in the film I help create in the future. And to think that at some point the majority of the industry will be filled with people like me, my age, who enjoyed the shows and movies, analyzed and loved the same characters that I watched growing up, it legitimately makes me wonder if “blorbo” character now will be mainstream and boring in the future because of the influence of those personalities on future movie makers right now.
