' boruto . . .' a singular arm lays upon blonde locks, a semblance of rare affection from the stoic uchiha, ' you did well today '
training with his sensei was a regular occurrence, however, receiving such praise was much more scarce and rare. boruto slightly flinches as the other’s arm flattens down blonde locks, confusion appearing upon features. blue eyes dart up to greet his sensei’s visage, did he do something wrong? what did he want to say? then, before he knew it his eyes began to light up from the answer. really? he did a good job? that ... that was so nice to hear. maybe he gets too emotional whenever he hears praise of any sort, but it just makes him feel so wonderful inside. he just loves the feeling of being validated from important people in his life.
“ mm! ” the boy eagerly nods, bright smile flashing across his lips as he gives his teacher a thumbs up. his boisterous tone full of pride; “ ne ne just watch sasuke-sensei, i’ll do even BETTER t’morrow, ttebasa! ”
