“wayne family adventures is fan service” this, “wayne family adventures is fan service” that what is the fucking point of media if not to service the fans. isn’t that the whole point. isn’t that why they make the media, so that people can enjoy it?
all i’m saying is i just saw the first faithful representation of my favorite character’s mental illness in a compassionate and thoughtful way without blaming him for his trauma and i swear to god it changed my life. if that’s not the point of creating and enjoying art then what is?
