i just remembered that canonically no one knew why leafy stole dream island and it's a damn shame cuz i know someone would've tried prying it out of her

on one hand, this helps dispel any doubts that some people SOMEHOW came to the conclusion that leafy was being evil and manipulative in bfdia 19 when she never truly was. all she wanted was friends, nothing else

on the other hand. ALL SHE WANTED WAS FRIENDS

Hi! Out of curiosity, any theories for how the reveal of Katarina’s past life and Fortune Lover will happen?

I'll be honest I kind of don't want it to happen 🫣

Realistically, it'll follow the path of something prompting her to have a moral dilemma and feel bad about keeping it a secret. She will uhm and err about the reveal for ages, almost manage but keep getting interrupted, then when she finally manages it'll come out poorly worded and she will panic like "nooo my beautiful script I spent so long working on all went to waste"

Initially the gang will probably think it was another dream, or Catarina being Catarina, so she will have to press that she's serious.

She'll cite all those previous dreams and visions as being past life knowledge which is probably pretty convincing given that she has basically been having premonitions throughout the series, which the others already know about

They'll probably be confused at how she was supposed to be the villainess, since she's so lovely. I can imagine Maria and Sophia saying something like "I don't care if this world is fake as long as I can be with you, lady Catarina!!!" Or even "I'm glad this story was written, so that I could meet you" and other romantic lines that will fly way over her head

Keith will mutter to the side like "Catarina? An evil villainess?? I truly can't imagine it" and Alan will nod along like, yeah I can't see her planning anything, let alone anything evil

As to when it'll happen??? Not anytime soon I think. These sorts of things get hyped up a lot in the lead up and I haven't seen any signs of that thus far. Possibly after FL2 finishes and Catarina is confident that that's it this time. Maybe she will get a dream where the company goes bankrupt or announces they aren't doing any more games in the future.

There's also the possibility that Catarina will think about telling them they're all characters, then Mary or Maria will run up to her to show her something, and she will go naaah. They're as real as can be.

rewatching bfdi leafy has like shallow friendships w some characters besided firey so it would be so cool to see her really appreciate n care for pin… n to make it gay i really think pin woudl have a small crush on her n leafy doesnt notice cuz shes just… leafy hgvfdjhv ANYWAY HI IM REALLY ON THE OBJECT SHOW RIDE
