love does wonders
once upon a time, there was a girl who thought of herself unlovable. she then made a friend, a boy, whom she met in school. this boy would always be there to help her out, hear her out and cheer her up whenever she needed someone to. he would protect her, from anyone who tries to hurt her. he would be her companion, even during wee hours. he would help her, with anything she wasn't sure of. he would make her happy, with anything he had. there was just this mysterious affinity between them. so as years went by, the girl who once thought of herself unlovable grew up to become a young confident lady. and the boy who became her best friend grew up to become a young suave man. they developed feelings for one another and eventually got together after being years of best friends. she was afraid. she didn't want to, even though she knew how much of a nice guy he was and how much she actually liked him. she was afraid that one day, things would go wrong and it could jeopardize the valued friendship they had. he assured her that it will never happen. so she went ahead, they got together. they received tons of blessings. she felt really happy, every single day was filled with happiness and blissfulness. they'd spent days together, eating lunch and dinner sometimes breakfast too. they'd watch their favorite shows and laugh out loud together. they'd go shopping once in awhile and choose outfits for one another. they'd talk about their future together, even though they do have different opinions. they loved so hard. but she never knew that she'd fall this deep, she never knew. she loved him, hard. and that was when things start to go wrong. quarrels and arguments became a daily routine. time spent together became a problem, and they eventually got pretty distant away, at least that's how she felt. on and on, things eventually stopped working out. they split up. she broke down, far worse than any other relationship she had had. she was broken. she lost her best friend and her boyfriend. she knew that time will heal, but never knew what was ahead of her. she began clubbing, drinking, skipping lessons. her life was a mess. she was in a mess. but she just couldn't stop. it was the only connection she felt she had with him. because he too, started clubbing and drinking, probably even more frequent than she did. he moved on after some time, got together with someone else. she knew, but couldn't get any more broken than she already was. after eight months of healing, she finally got back on track. back to her normal self, her healthy lifestyle. but that was also when they reunited, with a group of friends. she was healed, but she never once let go of him. he was irreplaceable, he'd always stand an important place in her heart. no matter how long it has been apart, they treated each other the same. they started hanging out, together with their friends again. and even though she never stopped loving him, she tried to keep it in. she knew he was attached. she tried to open up, get to know others, and even tried to date one. but all the efforts went to waste. she just couldn't let him go. aft a year, he left his then girlfriend. they started hanging out more and eventually got close again. she still loved him, this entire time. she loved him the same. she found herself feeling the same way for him, she found herself wanting to be more than just friends, she found herself feeling all these one sidedly. she, who loved him wholeheartedly, found out that he probably couldn't feel the same anymore. she never blamed him. neither did she hate on him. she still loved him. and probably still would, for a long time from now.
