Book Necklaces From Reclaimed Materials by Peg and Awl
Husband and wife duo Walter and Margaux Kent, from Peg and Awl (previously featured here) have a deep fascination for history and antiquated objects. The Philadelphia-based couple utilizes floor joists that once belonged to 1800s Philadelphia area houses to construct their wooden pieces.
Their work is compromised of reclaimed leather and wood to create a contemporary design with vintage materials.
The miniature book necklaces are also constructed from reclaimed leather hand-torn, hand-stitched, and contain line-free Strathmore drawing paper. Find their bookbinding collection in their Etsy shop.
