Hi friends! I’ve been getting back into studying Japanese. I’m trying to not put too much pressure on that and enjoy the ride. Mostly working on doing small bits of work consistently. I’m putting most of that energy into listening practise because that’s (I think) my biggest weakness when it comes to Japanese.

Trying to squeeze in an italian study session before work. I started watching the show “my brilliant friend” so I can emerse myself more with the italian language through more forms of media. Another show I might watch after is Luna terra, if you guys have any recommendations feel free to tell me about it.

How is it that it’s only week 2 of the semester and I’m already 4 weeks behind? I guess I’m playing catch up this week. At least my research work is on track. I have literally one (1) thing going for me.

most of my classmates are graduating this semester and I have 1 more to go. I feel like im losing a part of me. I really hope the best comes their way.

It’s 8:30 am and I’ve just done an all nighter because my sleeping schedule is fucked and I’m only productive and focused at night. There’s a hot water bottle on my feet and I just made myself the first cup of coffee for the day (decaf - I have anxiety). I don’t endorse working this way, but it’s the only thing that’s working for me at the moment.

zoomester study challenge | saturday, march 27 2021;

day 27: if you’re about to graduate, what’s something that you’ll miss from school?

this question is a little too hard on my heart right now, but i’ll miss so many things from uni. my friends, spotaneous nights out, take out and games in a crammed dorm room, late nights at the library, talking deep and spilling secrets on the train ride back to campus, ben and jerry’s at 1 am, tea and chats with professors, and just… i’ll miss all of it.

2 February 2021 | The final term of my master’s program has finally arrived. No idea if I’m doing anything *academic* afterwards right now. For now I’m just counting down the days until I find out where my husband’s residency placement will take us for the next three years. Adult existence is still such an enigma to me.
