holyshiiiit. I’m surprised I remember the email address and password to this blog...
Sadly this blog is and will remain inactive as I no longer have interest in Teen Wolf or even as roleplaying as Derek. I just thought I’d take a trip down memory lane and hope everyone is doing well.
Bye guys o/

"Of course you didn't." He gave a slight smirk as he glanced down to the keys they lay on the table, waiting or not to be used to free the cuffed teenager. He listened to him as he spoke, taking his time to stand behind the sofa and Stiles, fingers drumming along in precise order. "Change how the cuffs were? Were you actually planning to stay the night like this?"
Derek couldn't believe this kid one bit, but on the other side, he was impressed. He just didn't give up one bit. "Still kind of dangerous though." He mentioned, licking at his own lips unconsciously while he studied the other.
"I didn’t." He admitted with a casual shrug, then he gesture to the key sitting on the table. "The key’s there, and I made sure they were on right. If it got too late I was going to just get the key and change how the cuffs were on." He looked up at Derek, licking his lower lip again and smiling ever so slightly.
"See, I know what I’m doing." He swallowed thickly, definitely enjoying the situation he was in at the moment. Stiles shifted and turned to sit sideways to face Derek properly. "It helps."

With so many things happening in town, surprises were something that Derek didn't mind any more. He dealt with them as any one else did or would have. So when he returned home with a bag of belongings and food stuffs for that night, he wasn't at all moved when he saw a handcuffed Stiles sitting on his couch in positions that he had seen the teenager try before.
The wolf rolled his eyes at him as he set the bag on the floor beside the door before striding over to him with an actual amused look on his face. This kid was definitely going to be the end of him one day. "How did you know that I wasn't going to be out all evening? You could've been stuck like that until I came home the next day."
Stiles was sitting on the couch, lightly licking his lips and shifting positions slightly. Derek had seen him in similar positions before, hell Derek had even tried to make a point about safety bu leaving Stiles literally chained once. He didn’t see any reason why Derek wouldn’t at least talk to him about this again. Just hopefully not in an unamused way.
He tugged a bit at the cuffs, this time he’d made sure the keyhole was placed downwards properly, the key sitting on a small coffee table easily within reach. It was just a waiting game at this point. Wait for Derek to come in, wait for him to say something.

"Then I'll have to take you with me then, won't I?" He stepped forward once more, frowning at the male. "I only became rude because you wanted to leave! I refuse to remain stranded in the middle of nowhere while you get to go home to the warm!"

“This jeep doesn’t go anywhere without me.” He took a step back, arms crossing over his chest. "You were rude to me the moment you came up to my car, got in my way the when I wanted to leave.” His voice still raised.

And here he thought arranged marriages were out fashioned and only belonged in stories. Derek stood and listened in silence as Caitlin explained how everything evolved from a single meeting in a supermarket. He furrowed his brow as he folded his arms against his chest. He couldn't believe his ears that it just happened like that. So simple.
"I did -- what's left of them anyway." He finally spoke up, fishing out the documents that he had rescued from the wreckage of his old home. "You weren't easy to find."
Caitlin knew it. She sighed slightly as she turned to focus on the cooking. “My name’s Caitlin, I met your mother when I was pregnant with my oldest, Bevin. We were both at the supermarket and we ran into each other there. I couldn’t bend down far enough to get something so she helped me.”
Caitlin started putting ingredients into the pan and turned to look at him. “We got to talking, and after I told her I was having a girl she gave me some things from when your sister was a baby. We met fairly often after that.” She stared at the pan and paused mid-stir.
"I’m guessing you found your mom’s copy of the papers.

"Don't assume that I haven't gone through what you have!" He snapped at her, taking a step towards her before stopping. "My eyes are blue for a reason, and I would hate myself for even forgetting the people I loved. Whether on purpose or by some curse." He needed to remain calm. Yelling at her, when she was already growing distressed with their conversation, wasn't going to help the situation at all. "I'm not suggesting you forget what you are, only that you learn to control that side of you again. You don't want the same thing that happened to your boyfriend happen to anyone else? Then let me help. Because unless that curse comes back or that fairy of yours changes her mind in time, you're going to be a danger to everyone."

Derek kept all attention on the male in front of him, listening to the canine pad up beside the rolling pin wielding waiter. Well at least that was one problem dealt with, but he wished that the dog was out of the room altogether. He wasn't fond of dogs. Heaving a sigh and shoving his hands into his pockets, he leaned his weight onto one foot and gave the other an disinterested look. "Cappucino, cherry pie and perhaps your manager as well."
Chuck remained silent until the man was done yapping at him. “Digby! Sit!” The dog instantly sat down beside him. His hand was still firmly clasped around the rolling pin in his apron. He took a moment to calm himself before continuing on. “What can we get you, sir?” He tried his best to hide his fustration.

With her inviting him to join them and to stay, he no longer felt as though he was intruding and he may not have said it yet, but he was extremely grateful that this woman would answer the many questions that lingered in his mind.
Once inside, Derek followed the older woman through her home and into the kitchen, his gaze flitting all over the walls and catching glimpses of framed faces. He tried to recognise each individual face but no names came to him. "Who are you? How did you know my mother?" There were so many questions that flew around busily in his mind and he had to will himself to not let them all escape passed his lips all at once.
"It’s alright, the last time I saw you, you were still a little boy." Caitlin smiled at him and moved aside. "You can come on in Derek, I’m working on dinner so you’re welcome to stay."
She was remembering the arrangement, the conversations they’d had about their children and even when Bevin was a baby and would stare at Derek when the two mothers would get together. “You probably have questions, we can talk in the kitchen.”
If Derek had found his way to her, it likely meant that he knew, and he likely hadn’t known about it at all before Talia probably hadn’t gotten the chance to really talk about it to Derek, what it meant. “I promise, anything you ant to know I’ll tell you.”
