FEMA is doing an emergency alert test on all TVs, radios, and cell phones on October 4, 2023, at approximately 2:20pm ET.
If you live in the US and you have a phone you need to keep secret for any reason, make sure that it is turned off at this time.
Yes, I'm doing this months in advance, and yes, my blog has very little reach, but I figure better to post about it more than less.
Please reblog and add better tags than mine, I'm bad at tags.

Every time I watch The Office season 9, I remember what a prick Jim was after he started in Athlead. That conversation with Pam over the phone after Circe’s recital? The cowardice of wanting to go back to Philly on valantine’s day? Honestly, from season 8 to season 9 is like they complete changed his character. Although not much, because he had always wanted to have the upper hand.

How I’ve been living so long without The Amazing Devil in my life is baffling. Now that I’ve found them, it’s like I’ve stumbled into this magical, mystical realm and my soul is being ripped to pieces in the best possible way. It’s like art and poetry in its highest form.
I can’t imagine my life without them.

So I reopened my dating apps because my tarot deck said to
And then I matched this guy
So I was like "Ok I GOTTA message him"
THE RING WRAITH SAID TRANS RIGHTS
I think I'm in love.
I'll try to keep you updated, but if I stop posting I've run off to Mordor.

So proud of my mother for doing her own research after I sent her that meme. A sign she hung in her car window.

The IATSE just voted to strike!
Support them by signing this petition- they're going into negotiations before actually striking, and having proof of support from the public will increase their power in those negotiations.
From IATSE's website:
"Throughout the bargaining process, the AMPTP has failed to work with us on addressing the most grievous problems in their workplaces, including:
Excessively unsafe and harmful working hours.
Unlivable wages for the lowest paid crafts.
Consistent failure to provide reasonable rest during meal breaks, between workdays, and on weekends.
Workers on certain “new media” streaming projects get paid less, even on productions with budgets that rival or exceed those of traditionally released blockbusters.
It is incomprehensible that the AMPTP, an ensemble that includes media mega-corporations collectively worth trillions of dollars, claims it cannot provide behind-the-scenes crews with basic human necessities like adequate sleep, meal breaks, and living wages. Worse, management does not appear to even recognize our core issues as problems that exist in the first place."
These are basic rights they're fighting for; support them by signing the petition now, and don't be a scab once they start the strike!
