Just because we ship a ship that is confirmed to be abusive in the new canon of the series, it does not mean we romantacize it or support how abusive it is. Most of us were believed that the ship wasn’t abusive in the first place. RT never gave their 4 female protagonists a full backstory. Writing could have done better.

I used to be in an abusive relationship, so fuck you if you think I’m using Tauradonna as a coping method. Fuck you if you think I support the canon abusive ship. Fuck you for not letting me enjoy the ship by calling us abusers and telling us we’re romanticizing abuse. WE DO NOT ROMANTICIZE ABUSE NOR FUCKING SUPPORT IT.

Most of the Tauradonna shippers, like me, have fled to the AU side because we are in denial and put so much time and effort on this ship to let go. You antis and haters can say all you want, but I’ve said my piece. I also hope some of the Tauradonna shippers feel the same as I.

The RWBY fandom has been the 2nd nastiest fandoms I’ve joined in my entire life. You don’t see us Tauradonna shippers going to any other RWBY ship tags and post our hate there. We use the fucking #rwde tag because we’re fucking respectful to you.

I wish that manga!Adam was canon!Adam. But noooo… We get last season’s Adam being a giant douche nozzle instead.

At least in the manga he isn’t portrayed as being completely cold and heartless. He’s also given just a bit more emphasis as Blake leaves him so you know he’s slightly conflicted over his actions instead of just being a spiteful ex like in the show.

RWDE/Rant in terms of the writing & my opinion/thoughts during Volume 3 & ship drama rant.

(Just getting this off my chest, since I don’t think I made a chance to share any of my real thoughts after Volume 3. Saw this comment and I remembered what one half of my salt came from. The other half is the hellish hate/discrimination from haters on fans/shippers who shipped them for a long while, until Volume 3 gave us a huge slap to the face and broke our hearts with the nature of what their real relationship was. Like you think I shipped abuse? You think I want to ship abuse? HELL NO. Not a lot of fans and shippers wanted it to be like that to begin with, But apparently that doesn’t matter to the haters of the FNDM, because they don’t listen and ignorant. Like, we get u don’t like the ship anymore, and that makes sense and it’s normal, pretty sure even some of us shippers don’t like what canon Tauradonna is. Just don’t hate on actual real people and fans please. It’s almost 2017 and I don’t wanna have to deal with this hate crap again.)

Really wished for Blake and Adam’s relationship to have been the complex close relationship with conflict of different ideals over anything honestly. That was what made me ship them and what I liked about them, what I thought was gonna happen between them. 

(Also we have enough abusive relationships in the show, Weiss with her crappy dad, Yang with her neglectful mum, Mercury with his horrible dead dad, Just saying. Blake and Adam didn’t need to be one, Sadly RT wanted to take the easy route. What a shame and a waste.)

(Yo, I’m not defending the canon ship, that’s way too late, I’m explaining my and other Tauradonna shipper’s/fan’s situation with Volume 3 and with Tauradonna being confirmed as abusive. We’re still pretty upset too and we get it, it’s not that good as we thought it was. Some have decided to choose the path of f*ck canon, AU the ship, and move on. and some of us have dropped or left it. But it still feels like no one is listening or cares, they just want to slap their opinions. Like u can assume only horrible things about shippers, but u can’t even assume that? Stop with the hate presumptions and accusations please. Thank you.)

Tauradonna wasn’t even abusive so idk what they’re talking about. Not once has Blake hinted at being hurt. If she was being abused she would have ran off ages ago, she only left now because he’s an extremist.

Listen…. as much as no one wants to admit it…canon Tauradonna IS abusive. The new in-charge writers/directors said it, the cast said it, and it’s been finalized. There’s nothing we can do about it. It needs to be accepted; we can’t keep insisting this. That’s it, it’s done, case closed, accept it.

Was it trashy writing and a super fucking bad plot choice?? Oh, sure as sugary shit it was. We got no indication prior to the second half of V3 that Adam was anything but a partner/mentor to Blake that had lost his way (and Monty– gods rest his soul- had confirmed in a tweet years ago that they were nothing but mentor/student). Now, I could get into this for DAYS, but that’s not the point. The point is that as much as we want to go back into previous episodes and nitpick and say, “But what if–” or “But then there’s this–”… we can’t. It was bad writing and a last-minute decision, but  god dammit it’s canon.

Keep it in an AU if you wish it was otherwise like the rest of us, but do not make us and yourself look like an ass by insisting otherwise to other RWBY blogs.

Freud was Wrong: Sex and Relationships in Tokyo Ghoul

There’s been a lot of use of Freud lately in the fandom, especially with Rize showing up in Kaneki’s subconscious again.  It all sounds like this to me, though.

This is going to be a response to the wild and vastly different interpretations of Freud in the fandom I see right now. A lot of it incorrectly using Freudian imagery to discredit certain ships. 

Post 125, or let’s call it the instant that sex was officially introduced in a manga that was before pretty much sexless except for the implication that Nishiki and Kimi were sleeping together at one point, so let’s talk about the way literary works frame sex, and we as an audience react to it within the context of Tokyo Ghoul.
