Can someone tell me what the hell happened to shiftblr ?
Has the level of toxicity here seriously reached something I’ve never seen before? I left Shiftok about a year ago (around April 2024) for Shiftblr, and honestly, I had a good time because the community here felt smarter and healthier.
I also took a months-long hiatus to focus on myself, my mental health, school, and so on.
But now? It feels like a cesspool of recycled talking points, with a near fanatic, almost cult-like obsession with the Law of Assumption (not that there’s anything wrong with believing in it).
It’s the same Manichan-style rhetoric about race and age changing. Meanwhile, people who express doubts, anger, disappointment, or sadness about their shifting journeys seem to be silenced and buried under waves of toxic positivity.
What happened? It wasn’t like this before. Sure, there was some toxicity, but nothing close to the levels on Shiftok. Did a bunch of Shiftok users move here because of the threat of that platform being banned?
Now I honestly don’t know if I should even try to make a proper comeback. Back then, my essays and articles sparked thoughtful and critical engagement. But now? Gods, I can’t imagine what would happen if I dropped the remastered versions of my most popular essays, especially the ones about age and race changing.
The original age-changing essay was 8 pages, and the remastered version is now 21. I don’t know how long the race-changing one will be, but I expect something similar.
At this point, though, I feel like there’s an even more pressing need to talk about spiritual hygiene and self-care in relation to shifting, because no one seems to be addressing it and that’s honestly concerning and even dangerous.
So, if anyone has information about what’s been happening on Shiftblr recent dramas, controversies, or anything else that can bring me up to date I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!

If you were in my position where like 5 times in a row you attempted manifesting something to happen and it didn’t even though they were relatively small things and it’s really wrecking your trust in yourself that you can manifest anything, what would you do? It was to get specific things cancelled/rescheduled and to see a specific type of car. People say to start ‘small’ but man I just feel embarrassed because even those are falling through for me. Now when I just go back to knowing I just feel a ‘what’s even the point’ type of feeling..

i would take a step back and ask myself why im so obsessed with sight, when thats not what manifestation is about. why am i choosing to feed into an old story simply based on what i see, when knowing is all that matters?
id take the time to recognize that i make the decision for everything, so why would i actively, consciously, choose the negative one of "it didnt work" ? im just setting myself up for failure, when i could be setting myself up for success.

being anti ai is making me feel like in going insane. "you asked for thoughts about your characters backstory and i put it into chat gpt for ideas". studies have proven its making people dumber. "i asked ai to generate this meal plan". its causing water shortages where its data centers are built. "ill generate some pictures for the dnd campaign". its spreading misinformation. "meta, generate an image of this guy doing something stupid". its trained off stolen images, writing, video, audio. "i was talking with my snapchat ai-" theres no way to verify what its doing with the information it collects. "youtube is impletmenting ai based age verification". my work has an entire graphics media department and has still put ai generated motivational posters up everywhere. ai playlists. ai facial verification. google ai microsoft ai meta ai snapchat ai. everyone treats it as a novelty. every treats it as a mandatory part of life. am i the only one who sees it? am i paranoid? am i going insane? jesus fucking christ. if i have to hear one more "well at least-" "but it does-" "but you can-" im about to lose it. i shouldnt have to jump through hoops to avoid the evil machine. have you no principles? no goddamn spine? am i the weird one here?

I taught shifting to my little sisters, who are 6 and 8, and they managed to mini-shift on their very first try. It really makes me think that shifting is an innate ability we all have, but that gradually closes off as we grow up because of society and conditioning. On top of that, children naturally spend a large part of the day in theta/alpha brain states. Maybe when we try to shift as adults, what we actually need is to reconnect with that state of mind we had when we were kids.

dealing with boredom when manifesting
when it comes to manifesting important things, i know a lot of times we start feeling antsy. impatient. very much bored. like we know we have it. that’s it, we’ve succeeded. but we still want to experience it.
so when we see the opposite, it’s just like “ughhh i’m bored!!! i just wanna see the new story already!!!” these feelings are completely fair!
think abt it like the day before a birthday. you know you have gifts and you’re gonna celebrate, but you’re still impatient and excited. you want the gifts now! that feeling doesn’t mean you don’t know you have them; you just desire them, to enjoy them in that moment.
and there’s nothing wrong with feeling like this, bcs feelings are just feelings! it means nothing unless you start identifying with them and start changing your knowing to “i dont have it at all period, i wish i could get it.” other than that tho, it’s just noise.
but one thing i do to help get over the boredom and such, is i just ask myself, “let’s say i really did experience my desire a week ago, "physical" sight and all. would that change anything in my life right now?”
like if i manifested long hair and saw it a week ago, would that greatly influence my day now? probably not! i’d just know that i have long hair. the excitement would’ve worn off and it would’ve just been something i accepted as normal and regular in my life. i’d still feel bored and probably want to manifest something else to feel good again. my manifestation of long hair would’ve been a thing in the past. something i used to be so obsessed abt would now just be a passing thought of “oh yeah, i did that."
even just thinking abt it, there are people out there who have exactly what you desire. the sp, the desired appearance, the money, everything. but they still experience boredom too, no? to them, it’s just their life. nothing crazy or special at all.
i just think we tend to think that when we see it, it’ll change everything for us (and true for some stuff like manifesting your dream life and whatnot, it does, but ykwim) but in reality, when i think abt all the things i’ve manifested, even important things like money, sp, appearance…im just like.. eh🤷🏽♀️ bcs im still me yk?
i still sometimes feel bored. i still sometimes feel sad. i still sometimes feel like i want more. and seeing my manifestations didn’t change any of that. bcs they’re JUST feelings. we all have them. they come and they go. but they're not real, they're not permanent, and they don't inherently mean anything at all!
so if you start feeling like this, dont freak out or start identifying with you not having it. you'll just be putting yourself back in the old story. simply recognize and dismiss it.
ok you feel bored. so? you can have your desire and still feel bored. it doesnt mean you dont have it, its just a feeling. another form of awareness that you (awareness) are aware of. it means nothing! you know you have it, and thats that.

stop procrastinating without hating yourself ༘⋆✿
let’s be honest… we’ve all been there. sitting at your desk, staring at the assignment, knowing you should start but instead watching youtube or scrolling for “study motivation.” and then the guilt hits, and suddenly you feel like the worst person alive.
first thing: procrastinating doesn’t mean you’re lazy. it usually means you’re overwhelmed. the task feels too big, or you’re scared of messing up, or you’re just tired and your brain wants comfort. so let’s fix it without all the self-hate, because guilt doesn’t get the work done.
1. forgive yourself and start fresh
beating yourself up wastes energy you could use to actually start. tell yourself: “okay, i didn’t start earlier. that’s fine. i’m starting now.” give yourself permission to reset instead of spiraling.
2. make the first step tiny
this is my favorite trick. break the task into something so small it feels impossible to fail. like:
open the document
write the title
read one page of notes
that’s it. usually once you start, momentum kicks in.
3. use the two-minute rule
if something takes less than two minutes, do it right now. open your laptop, clear your desk, fill your water. starting often feels harder than the actual work.
4. make your environment inviting
sometimes procrastination is just avoidance because your setup feels like a punishment. clean your desk a little, light a candle, make a playlist you love. make the vibe cozy so working feels less like torture.
5. give yourself breaks on purpose
don’t aim for a 5-hour marathon. try 25 minutes of work and then a short break. it tricks your brain into thinking “this isn’t so bad” instead of “we’re stuck here forever.”
6. stop waiting to feel motivated
motivation doesn’t come before action. action comes first. start messy, start small, start scared. just start.
procrastination is a habit, not a personality trait. you can break it without shaming yourself into the ground. one small step right now is better than the perfect plan tomorrow.

the method I use as a shifter of 4 Years
this is my own method that I’ve figured out over time and has worked for me the best. I shift multiple times a week with this, I hope it can help you too.
I call It “The Tai Method” (Named after me)
The Method
As you’re going to sleep and feel yourself get tired, focus on the lights behind your eyelids and on what you can see with your eyes closed, (if you can see nothing that’s fine, the trick is to just pay extra attention)
do this for like half a minute before focusing on everything you can hear, cr sounds? Dr sounds? And try to really listen and hear if you can hear your dr.
After half a minute of that too focus on your body, do you feel tingles? Your own breathing? Sinking? Try to feel your surroundings change, or if It feels like you’ve moved.
do this 4 times and it should start to feel like your surroundings have changed. Even if it doesn’t, fall asleep and you’ll likely shift.
(best recommended as a sleep method, but works as an awake too! You can say affirmations if you want but It’s not required)
yes. It’s really that easy, just pay attention to your cr and dr while you’re relaxing, and you will shift!
