I love how different forms of art are all obsessed with each other. A book tries to capture the feeling of music, a painting tries to depict a scene in a book, a song tries to paint a picture. And it's always insufficient. No single form of art can encapsulate another form of art and capture the essence of it – but it tries, and its attempts are impossibly compelling. All the forms of art are in love with each other and spend so much time trying to express what makes the other kinds of art so lovely.
i can't stress enough about how important it is to have emotional intelligence to maintain a healthy relationship. emotional intelligence avoids most misunderstandings in arguments, like sometimes you will laugh in a serious discussion because that's how your brain copes with uncomfortable situations or you will make an irritated look you can't control as a result to an action and all of these need to be understood by a person who is intelligent enough to notice they are basic gestures and instinctual human responses. it get's tiring to deal with people who can't differentiate between them
Dark Swan would've been the perfect set up for Swanqueen and it makes me SICK. Emma sacrificed herself for Regina, Regina knew exactly how to get to Emma and save her, and Emma gave her the dagger. How perfect would it have been if it came down to it that Regina had to end Emma and she couldn't. An emotional declaration of love, a true love kiss on the forehead that releases Emma from the Darkness. I could cry.
