This place might not be as glamorous as the private Specklehorn University nearby, but step inside and you'll be amazed by the unrelenting passion of our faculty and students! Despite our relative lack of funding, we have made great strides in biology and related fields, and have recently started offering degrees in the social sciences-- Where are you going? To the third floor of the organismal biology building? Deliberately following the muck tracks to a particularly dingy corner of our otherwise cozy campus?

Don't tell me you're going to that lab--no, no, they're not bad people, they're just weird and kind of annoying-- You're going to that lab. Okay.

Well. Welcome to the L.E.E.C.H. lab then, I guess. No, I don't know what the acronym stands for, and neither do that lab's supervisors. I think they just liked the sound of it. They do stuff in the marsh complex a few miles outside of the city limits--no I don't know what research they do, why would I? I'm just the orientation leader. I'm a genetics major for fuck's sake, I have better things to do with my life than talk to these people.

...Yeah, sure. I'll let you poke around, I guess. They might trap you in conversation, anyways...

this is an oc blog of mine :3 not sure how active ill be able to be here but well see

i will post more info about the worldbuilding and characters within, but for a brief rundown of the premise:

this is a fantasy setting based off of 1920s america; however, im incredibly loose with this, especially since the multiverse exists and there is trade/travel across dimensions (though transdimensional goods are pretty expensive and overly-regulated, so nothing's super accessible)

the specific group of ocs ill be focusing on work in an underfunded wetland research lab, though there are plenty of other ocs that exist either in other departments in this college or outside of academia entirely

much of this will probably just be me reblogging stuff like omg that reminds me of My Guy but i will post actual informative content as well this will probably mostly be only entertaining to me but unfortunately this is my Only Real Interest so i will be unrelenting with this blog anyways
