Even before I knew I was aromantic I wondered why the “slogan” for queer resistance was “love is love” and not “I am I” or something that emphasizes that this is who we are rather than focusing on who we love. Lots of queer identities aren’t about who we love but who we are, you know?

sometimes i’m like “man did i get the right read on riz’s character is he really this closed off?” and then i remember that his entire party stood ten feet from his dad’s grave when they were looking for zayn in freshman year and he said NOTHING. they didn’t even know his dad was dead. riz what the fuck

I think it’s more she accidentally started the fire because her mind was distracted by her father. Something like that. But in season 1 student witnesses do say it was Mr. Martin who started the fire

Also, I’ve got another reason to think Mr. Martin started the fire: Janet said her father tormented her in her scar. You’d think, if she actually caused a fire that killed her and her favorite teacher, her scar would have something to do with that. Then again, she could be lying cause to my knowledge that would mean she’s the only one whose scar doesn’t directly relate to the way they died

As much as I would like to ship them, can we talk about the levels of groundbreaking that was 2 male characters platonically freely expressing love and affection to each other and saying the actual words “I love you,” especially with one being (presumably) straight and the other gay. Like when does that ever happen, especially on tv. Man, I love School Spirits so much
