I’ve been seeing a lot of tiktoks lately about ‘fake therians choosing their theriotype’

But we shouldn’t jump to conclusions with everyone.

You might see a MLP fan say they’re a pony therian.

You might see a furry who’s theriotype is the same animal as their fursona.

You might see someone with the very common wolf theriotype.

To use myself as an example, you might see an autistic with a special interest of the lion king be a lion therian.

Some see these types of therians and think ‘they’re not a real therian, they just have a favourite animal.’

But to me, my lifelong attachment to lions was the most telling sign that I am one.

but more like “I’m a dog disguised as a human pretending to fit in so I can enjoy the benefits of humanity such as chocolate, video games, and collecting cute things”
