Came up with some new Minecraft sculk monster thingys. First up: The Spore!

An reimagining of sculk as a sort of eldritch tentacle-y fungus goop that can infect (or ‘Sculk’ because I’m so creative) other mobs and players and repurpose them to spread further. The Spore was a winged player that got Sculked (I imagine there was only a short pain as the skull was breached), their brain functions are slowly overridden by an uncontrollable urge to spread sculk.

Often aggressive, they use their tentacles to grab prey and then slash with the remains of their other hand, which features outcroppings of whatever that sculk bone stuff is idk I just make the lore you expect me to know? They are also capable of a less powerful sonic charge compared to the Warden’s.

Their behaviour when not engaging in combat is mostly wandering the caves and, very rarely, some might even find their way to the surface. As the fly they drip sculk which will attempt (often fruitlessly) to seed a new Sculk Field. When they land their feet behave like a temporary Catalyst and will sometimes stay in place until a permanent Catalyst has formed.

They also retain the sense of sight, which Sculk is largely unable to produce on its own but can preserve.

Anyway yeah, I hope whoever sees this likes it, I’m starting to feel like I ain’t built for this site, but what the heck I can post what I want right?

Having mustered a little confidence on here looking around (and under the assurance that this is my blog apparently so I can do whatever technically) I would like to introduce what I guess is mine and a friend’s group of Lethal Company OCs! (Or my attempt at drawing them from a while back). Rantings and tags below:

We figured The Company would change around suit designs at some point. This design features only one air tank and is a little baggier. This crew is around the last of the design, with Kev being the new guy and having the suit we wear in game, and Louie being an employee abandoned by his crew who survived in the facility (named after a radar booster we forgot one time) Set at some point between Sigurd and the game (which is about a 400 year gap but post Old Birds I think. Lore’s still in the works). We’ve got some lore cooking and it’s looking very interesting, might post later (also Lefty is now known as Vet I just can’t be bothered to update it :P)

ok hear me out

if the spice is vital for space travel how did they get to Arrakis in the first place to figure that out?

the Fremen don’t seem to have space travel technology of their own or have any interest in it so how did everyone else get there?

my creative motivation is now looking at people on here drawing my favourite characters and reminding my self that 98% of my DNA did that

1% can’t be bothered and the other 1% wouldn’t ship people enough to get likes or notes or whatever it is on here

yo why can’t everyone just keep left while they’re walking like they’re driving and make it 10 times easier to not get into that sidestep lock thing no one likes
