Nope! RotC doesn’t have a Discord server or CoG forum thread associated with it; all info and content related to it will be shared exclusively on this blog.

How often does it update?

I write purely as a hobby so I don’t have any sort of update schedule and instead update whenever I'm able. Raiders of the Caravan was last updated on January 23rd, 2025, and currently contains the prologue and first five chapters.

Do you accept NSFW asks?

I’d prefer that you please keep Asks in line with the content of the game itself (ie: 16+).

Who are the ROs?

Ruokar, Magreth, Mint, and Freja, all of whom are available regardless of the MC’s gender. Illustrations of them can be found under the tag #RotC Art

Really enjoyed Chapter 5. Love how you write characters. The brothers, Mint, Freja. They're all so distinctive and I deeply enjoy learning more about them.

So glad to see you back and for a RotC update!! 💕I was wondering, since you mentioned before in an ask that unexpected physical contact is jarring for Mags- would things like MC letting him be the initiator work? Things like signaling to him nonverbally that they wanted a kiss or to be held ie holding their arms out/ tilting their face up etc things like that? MC slowly reaching out to give him time to process what’s coming and avoid it if he’s not comfortable? Especially as they get more comfortable with each other and can read each other better? (Or at least until Mags can, seems like MC can be pretty in tune with him already!) TY!

When touching his partner, Magreth prefers clear verbal communication over looks and gestures, at least to start, because he's worried about possibly misinterpreting what they mean or missing them entirely. As the relationship progresses and he has a chance to learn his partner's preferences and tells, he might grow more comfortable with relying on nonverbal cues, but for now he's all about those words

As for receiving touch, he'll always appreciate his partner seeking confirmation beforehand, no matter how far into the relationship they are. Even if he sees it coming, he's more comfortable just being asked first, and in a way, his partner's willingness to do so is just as romantic of a gesture to him as the touch itself

Hey! I'm getting a "your connection is not private" warning when I try to play Apartment 3-3 over on cog demos, do you have any idea why that is?

I'm not able to replicate the problem so I don't think it's an issue with the game/link itself. Googling "your connection is not private" returns a whole slew of articles, Reddit posts, and YouTube videos sharing potential causes and fixes that might be worth a try, including:

Refreshing the page

Closing and relaunching the browser

Using incognito mode, or a different browser entirely

Clearing your browser cache

Restarting your device

Ensuring your device's date and time are accurate

I'd recommend taking a look at some of those articles/videos yourself since they go into more detail and also cover things like interference from VPNs and antivirus software.

Hopefully you're able to get it working again ASAP!

Alrighty, I've begun the process of transferring things to CoGDemos. RotC and Wolfsbane are gonna need some finagling before I can upload them, but Apartment 3-3 is up and should be playable.

Everything seems fine on my end but if anyone is interested in doing another playthrough to confirm that it's working as intended, that would be much appreciated!

Hey! I know you haven't updated the demo in a long time. But dashingdon is going down, so authors need to move the demo to another site. Or it'll become inaccesible.

You obviously have no obligation to port it (most are going to cogdemos), but it would be a shame to be unable to replay wolfsbane again.

hello, sorry! the elf height is pretty close to orcs, but when ruokar is rescuing you, the text says that his hand envelops both of yours? are elves just kinda skinny? i'm confused lol

Hello! No need to apologise for the question ^^

While elves can vary in terms of size and build, they do consistently have long, slender hands, yes. Orc hands tend to be very broad by comparison, so both of an elven MC's hands can fit quite comfortably beneath just one of Ruokar's (and Magreth's, for that matter).
