a plot where muse a is the daughter of a wealthy family and muse b is sworn to protect her after a threat was sent to her family. he’s used to protecting important government officials, not bright-eyed girls that just want to be normal and go to parties with hundreds of people and get really drunk to have some fun and he’s ready to have a heart attack with her careless actions.

When writing canon characters, it’s part of the fun to come up with headcanons, whether to fill in some blanks the canon material didn’t provide, or to stray from canon altogether. It’s a big part of writing in the rpc! But as always, there are some things to be mindful of when approaching headcanons.

Support your mutuals' headcanons! When a mutual posts a headcanon on the dash, it’s always nice to acknowledge it with a like or even a comment, especially if you enjoyed the headcanon! It’s such an easy way to support your mutuals, and it’s sure to make their day!

Not everyone will have the same headcanons as you, and that’s ok! If you stumble upon a headcanon you really disagree with, that’s fine, but remember to be respectful about it. We are all entitled to our own opinions and point of view about a character, and we’re allowed to disagree about them, but it’s never a reason to be disrespectful.

And so, if you disagree with a headcanon, don’t send hateful messages. In general, I’d say it’s best to just keep on with your day. 

Don’t steal headcanons! I know that sounds like an obvious one, but it bears repeating. Yes, rp is a hobby, but it’s a hobby that takes time and effort. We all work hard on developing headcanons for our muses, and it is very disheartening to see them get stolen. And usually, well, people can tell if someone stole a headcanon from them! 

But remember that it’s also normal to have similar headcanons among a fandom. Because someone is writing the same canon muse as you and seems to have similar headcanons, that does not mean they stole them from you. Some headcanons tend to be a general consensus among fandoms, so keep that in mind as well. 

Remember to check a muse’s headcanons before interacting! Muses can be more or less canon-divergent, but usually, muns will add their own headcanons to canon muses. And often they can impact the portrayal! So it’s important to check the headcanons, especially if the muse is headcanon-based.

Warmed digital feedback, with a beefier end of chain.

Exploring using the spin of Imitor Versio to distribute a sound source (in this case, telharmonic pings) to different effect chains. One is Ikarie, Data Bender, and QPAS; the other is self-patched Erbe-Verb. Everything comes back together via jumble henge, then goes through Milky Way for reverb and Analog Heat for distortion. That unit is going to live between my synth and my field recorder forever.

I love a lot of the sounds here, and the general sound quality. Planning to explore some similar patches.
