Like imagine if one day someone just came up with a new word that meant "lesbian but will date trans women" or "lesbian but like women for their personalities instead of looks" and randomly decided that the old term lesbian meant you only like cis women, and just for their looks or body parts. And now everyone is either forced to adopt the new term, or keep the original term but have to deal with misconceptions and constantly have to clarify that you aren't what they randomly changed the definition of lesbian to mean. And when you point out "actually lesbian never excluded trans women or implied I don't care about personality" and people respond by saying "oh well I still like the new term anyways its a personal choice and it's not hurting anyone" even though the literal existence of the new word implies things that aren't true about the old term. That's exactly what pansexual did to bisexuals

it’s crazy how people will comment “remember, there are two sides to every story” “I want to hear his side on this” on videos of women talking about heinous abuse they’ve experienced at the hands of an intimate partner. and his social media is actually readily accessible. and he’s talking about his ‘side of the story’ and it’s “yeah, I did set my ex wife on fire but she was a crazy bitch and we were arguing so I think she deserved it and I did nothing wrong”
okay. what now. are you going to go to her page and apologize for not believing her?

A woman made a TikTok video after stepping into her boyfriend’s garage to get some air during a panic attack and finding all the doors were padlocked shut from the inside, barricaded with the windows blacked out with cardboard. She was like “Is this a red flag? Is this weird? I can’t trust my instincts because I have C-PTSD.” and all of the men in the comments were ripping her to shreds and saying she’s just insecure. Like, no girl. If I stepped into someone’s garage and they had it locked up like the Hope Diamond , I’d also start spiraling. I don’t care how valuable your motorcycle is or how bad the neighborhood is, the totally blocked off chained up no light room IS creepy.
