Little bit of an update, I had carpel tunnel surgery on Tuesday, on my left wrist. I'm doing much better. But I will be slow with things until these stitches are out. I'll be off work for like 6 weeks. So I'm gonna try and get to everything.

"And that is what you bloody well got, detective! You got all the time in the world! I'm no longer your concern. I've moved on!" Lucifer hadn't meant to raise his voice but he had. "I have never lied to you about being the devil, I never put on an act or anything of that sort. I've always been honest with you about all of this." Shaking his head a little bit, he didn't want to fight with her about this at all. He truly didn't. Clearly that was what they going to do though, as much as he didn't want to. At this point he just wanted to solve the case, get that done and go have some drunks and fun at Lux.
"You tried to kill me with that priest! Don't you dare just put this blame on me, detective. In fact own up to your own bloody mistakes. How else am I suppose to understand it? How is that not fully accepting someone? You made your position perfectly clear." He looked over at her. "Do you think that betrayal is just going to go away just because he's gone or whatever? Guess what, detective it won't."
Lucifer held up his hands. "I think we are done here for today, detective. I know that Eve accepts me for who I am. You are the one that maybe should go and see the doctor, work all of this out. And for trying to punish you as you just said, I would never. I moved on because that is what people do. I will let you get back to your job, detective. I'm done for today."
There were a lot of times where the things Lucifer said were like a punch to the gut and what he said about Eve and their "ever-growing relationship" nearly knocked the wind out of her. And yes, she was jealous because she could've been in Eve's place and she destroyed it and for eight months, it was thrown in her face.
But, it was quickly replaced by anger because she KNEW Lucifer was punishing her. She knew it wasn't on purpose, but subconsciously he was. And her anger only grew when he said she didn't accept him for who he was. He hadn't said that in a long time, but he clearly still believed it.
"That is not true!" she yelled, slamming her hands down on the table in front of them. She brought the volume of her voice down, but there was still anger and hurt in her voice. "I told you that I want to and that I'm trying! I needed TIME! YOU were the one who decided that it meant no, Lucifer! You didn't even consider the fact that the reason I freaked out didn't even have anything to do with you! I didn't think ANY of this was real, Lucifer, remember!?"
She'd told him four years ago during the Lindsey Jolson case. He was eating Cool Ranch Puffs and made a joke about how one would think he'd like the flaming hot cheetos or something. If she wasn't so angry now, she'd probably laugh at the memory considering that she understood his joke now and thought it was funny. "My entire world was turned upside down!" she continued ranting. "When I saw your face, not only did I realize that you weren't crazy, but that God, Heaven, and Hell were real! Not only that, but that everything I heard about all of it was backwards! That the devil is far from evil and God is just...awful! I'm not saying I didn't screw up because I did and you have every right to be angry with me, but YOU'RE the one who decided that I don't fully accept you!"
Chloe knew she should stop, but unfortunately she kept going because realized something about the conversation they had last night. "As for me being jealous of your 'ever-growing relationship,'" she raved. "I KNEW you were punishing me by throwing your relationship in my face! Maybe you aren't consciously trying to punish me, but deep down you are because I hurt you! And yes, I deserve it but not like this! Talking about it is one thing, but this is my JOB, Lucifer! I shouldn't have to be subjected to having to see it here! And last night you asked me if I thought you were pretending to be someone you're not! I never thought so until today and the difference between today and yesterday is Eve! Maybe you should ask yourself if she actually fully accepts you for who you are because you've NEVER questioned yourself like that before!"

Lucifer listened to her, and nodded his head a little bit. "Yes, I do get blamed for that a lot. But I had nothing to do with either of those. It wouldn't have been the right thing. The right thing is for me to be here with you all of you. Being in Hell, time moves differently down there. I am truly glad that you never went through with his plan." Which was truly, he was glad that she didn't. "Well you don't have to worry about that now, do we? I'm not leaving your side, Chloe."
When she took his hand, he gave her hand a gentle squeeze. Shaking his head a little bit, while looking over at her. "No, you did not deserve not." He admitted. "I was just being petty and I was hurting." He confessed softly. "You were jealous?" Which made sense because he had called her out on that but he still shouldn't have.
"He told me point blank what he wanted to do," Chloe said. "I initially said no. I mean, he blamed you for the Chicago fire and Nazi Germany. The only thing that finally convinced me to say yes was that he told me that I'd be doing the right thing for you, too. But, I was never fully on board. I couldn't hurt you like that and I...." She was afraid of how she was going to sound to him. "The thought that I'd never see you again....It hurts just imagining it."
She took one of his hands in both of hers. She was grateful for his apology, but he deserved the truth about how she felt. "Yes, I was hurt," she said. "But, we both know I deserved it." She sighed before continuing. "And you were right about me being jealous."

It was very true, Klaus was a very complicated man and had one hell of a past. Centuries worth actually. And he could count how many times he actually truly had feelings for someone on his hand. It was clear that they were both struggling tonight, but Klaus would put his demons aside and focus on Cami's because clearly she needed him right now. Or at least that was how he seen it. Listening to her speak about her birthday and mentioning her twin, that was when he reached over and placed his hand over hers. "I'm truly sorry about Sean. But I would like to celebrate your birthday if you are up for it. Maybe we can get dinner and go for a walk or something?" He questioned, while looking over at the blonde. "Just not be ourselves for one night."
There was a dark cloud around his head --- she could see it. At one time she would have dismissed it, thinking it was of his own making. But she knew better now. Klaus was complicated (her feelings for him were complicated). She tilted her head a little, realizing that the two of them were battling their own demons on this night. There was a reason they were both wide awake while the city around them slept. She watched for a moment, trying to decide what she wanted to say. In the end, she just said it like it was. "--- it's my birthday," she announced, her tone bittersweet. "Which means it's also Sean's birthday. So I am feeling a bit..." She shrugged her shoulders. "...out of sorts right now."

There was no good reason for Valerie to be here besides the fact that she truly missed her and wanted to see her. Truthfully she missed Maye and well she needed to tell her. Once the door opened, she looked over at the other woman. "Hi." She stated, licking her bottom lip before hearing the question. Was she nervous? Yeah, she was. "I uhh--wanted to see you." She told her honestly. "I thought we should talk about everything."
open for ✵ anyone (f/nb for romantic).
setting ✵ maya's apartment.
muse ✵ maya nakamura, twenty-eight, post-professional women's soccer player, current receptionist.
"Okay, okay, I'm coming," Maya muttered loudly at the persistent knock on her apartment door, throwing up her hands as though the person on the other side could see her frustration. "Seriously, what could be so important —." Her voice stopped as she pulled open the door in an exaggerated flourish, the gaze that met her own unforgettable, her heart already hammering against her chest. "... what are you doing here?"

"Well you know I don't mind helping you. Because honestly you are like one of my best friends probably the only best friend that I got." Waylon stated, looking over at him, he was glad that his friend was actually owning up to his mistakes. "So with that being said you going to do it now? And do you need a ride?"
"Waylon. I appreciate you trying to help but, really it's fine. It's my mess and I will break up with Mandy." He was kicking himself for the mistake in the first place and all the maybes he was saying.

Hearing her pleas, there was a small smirk that formed on Mason's lips. "As you wish, baby." Slipping in another finger inside of her, he started thrusting his fingers in and out of her. While his thumb started to make circles on her clit. Continuing to thrust harder with each thrust of his fingers.
Juliette's back arched against Mason's touch. She let out the smallest of moans as his fingers teased at her clit. "Yes baby, more." Juliette said as she wanted nothing more than for Mason to keep pleasuring her. She hips moved slightly against his fingers as she whined for more. "Harder, please. I can take it."

"Oh come on! I'm going to starve and it's going to be all your fault." Addison teased lightly with a small chuckle. Sighing a little bit, she took the cheese grater. "Now tell me again what we are making here?"
"you invited me over here to help you cook, not so i could cook for you. i would make you pay me if that was the case." komi laughed and slide over the grater towards her. "now, you need to grate it, please be careful! i'm on standby if you need me."

There was something different about Nicky, he made him feel like he was complete. Besides his cousin and his uncle, he felt like Nicky truly understood and accepted everything about him. Not to mention he felt like the other male actually wanted him around. All of this was a new feeling for Aaron considering his own parents didn't want him. "You don't sound so cringe because I do believe we are both very lucky." He told him honestly, with a small smile. Enjoying how Nicky's hands felt running through his hair. " We could go to lunch, take a walk onto the pier, maybe go to that favorite coffee shop of yours?"
Nicky couldn't help but smile at Aaron when he heard the response, feeling so grateful to be with someone like this. This man had turned his world upside down in the best possible way and it was something that he hadn't realised he needed. "Maybe the luckiest after me. Gosh, I sound so cringe." A laugh escaped his lips and he ran a hand over his hair. "What would you like to do today?"

It was the truth, Elena was understanding and she didn't bullshit around either so that alone was something that she was open and honest about. "Well it's good for both of us." She stated, listening to him. Writing something down in her notepad now as he spoke. Nodding her head a little bit. "And just what made you think that exactly? Was he just some random guy? Or someone that you actually knew?"
The comment made him smile and he nodded his head, glad that she was understanding. "Good. I mean, probably not smart, but good for me at least." he replied, before his smile fell a little. "Well I saw some guy the other day. It was just some guy at the store, but I got this feeling, y'know? Like he was watching me."

Dominka had missed the blonde every damn day, and she also had no intentions on dating anyone else. Nodding her head a little bit. "Yeah, I do especially if that is something you want as well. I don't want to date anyone else." She admitted softly, while keeping her eyes on Brooke.
Brooke wasn't sure what Dominka was getting at by not saying anything. "What do you mean...don't tell them anything?" She did miss her ex, almost every day since they had broken up. No thoughts of dating anyone else. "You want to get back together?"

Duncan glanced over at her when she seemed to snap at him. Guess it was now or never right? To tell her the truth about who his family was. "I'm part of the Mafia, Lor. I can protect you and so can my family. Hence why I'm asking all of these questions." It was out there now, and there was no way that Duncan could ever take it back but it was time for her to know the truth.
"Duncan!" Lorraine blurted out. "I tell you I witnessed a Mafia murders and you are asking if they wore any colors, are you kidding me?!" She turned so her back faced him, chugging down her coffee and finishing it all in one gulp. Lorraine was confused about what he was asking or even talking about at this point.

It was best not to talk about his occupation with her or anyone else besides those that hire him. Honestly it kept her safe and that was what mattered. Even if they were just friends with benefits. "Well that is good to know considering I like you a lot also." Giving her hand a gentle squeeze, while smiling that was when he leaned forward and connected their lips.
Melody knew that Owen had an occupation he didn't talk about. A mysterious back story but she didn't care. "I like you a lot, I'm glad we can hold off until then." The blonde held onto his hand and smiled.

"Nice to meet you, Charlie, well Mr. Rockcastle." Taking her hand back, she smiled over at him. "Oh no, not terrible at all. I promise. I wanted to call this meeting to address some concerns. Which is mainly Lily's homework. I know she knows the work, she's just not turning in her homework. She's one of my brightest students, and always answers correctly when called on."
"Hi Miss Kennedy. I'm Charlie, or Mr. Rockcastle." He shook her hand. "I hope this isn't terrible news." He wasn't sure if this was good or bad news on his daughter Lily.

When Kai finally spoke, Beatrix nodded her head a little bit. "I do. The water is at the perfect temperature, get undressed and get in. I'll be back in a moment with the painkillers and to help get you cleaned up." She started to move out of the bathroom, before glancing back towards Kai. "I'm sorry about all of this. I never wanted you to go in there."
She was shivering and she didn't know what to say or how to say it. She knew she was a mess, though. Kai knew she should've said she wasn't ready, but she wanted to prove herself. With a nod, she sat in front of Beatrix and she hurt everywhere. "Do you have painkillers?" She finally found her voice and it sounded foreign to her in some way.

"That is very true. Free drinks are the best." There were times that Ivy didn't want to be attached to somethings that included Olympia even if they weren't together anymore. She wanted to shut off her feelings and act like this was nothing. But it was actually everything in this moment. Everything always came back whenever she seen the other person. "Or you could totally just text your boss and tell them that you aren't able to do that and hang out with me all night instead." She really hoped that the other woman would take her up on that. "We could get more drinks especially since they are free and all."
"There's free drinks, no such thing as a bad night, with free drinks is there?" Nonchalance was her default setting, meaning it was usually easy to be entirely unattached to a conversation. Ivy was one of her few exceptions, and no matter how much she wished she could turn off feelings, she couldn't. Whenever she was around the other, her mind would scream that she was the only person she could count on, while her heart argued something else entirely. "Probably shouldn't stay too long though, genius me agreed to do the early shift at the diner. What can I say, except I'm not a planner."
