Legend rolls his eyes, "Of course you go to him for this. You're -"

Oh yes!! I started the cartoon and I'm only a few episodes in but he's a stinky rat and I love him.

Personally he's SO loser little brother shaped (TO ME cause he reads like 16 and is a baby)

All he wants is to be told he's doing good and he seeks the praise in the form of chasing Zelda

If you did flirt with hin he'd die for you. He'd propose quickly because you want him too!! He's a little fast moving but he's SO loyal

If you (like me) see him as a loser little brother he's coming to you for advice and reassurance. He's also always trying to impress you the way siblings do

He HATES wool, it itches

living with the chain is not night owl friendly in the slightest and im gonna yell about it

i always found it a little ridiculous that the chain all fall asleep at like. basically the same time excluding watches. like they are all Morning People (derogatory) /silly

i find it funny to imagine reader in that scenario because i, a person who cannot recall going to sleep before like 2 in the morning... ever... would be actually fighting for my life.

god forbid reader has other problems with sleeping around people (using myself as an example: people can't touch me because i overheat (even just a hand), and any snoring will tempt me to commit atrocities worthy of the 6 o'clock news), because i think this would actually be their personal hell. it'd certainly be mine

at that point would reader even sleep... like sure, they'd be dead on their feet before 2 pm if they can't at least sneak in a power nap before everyone is alive... but unfortunately, the sun exists and it doesnt decide to dim itself so you can go honk mimimimi. because the sun is a bastard.

so reader, an Idiot (affectionate), might just try and suck it up only for biology and the hat man to catch up with them like "bitch u thought" and cast Instant Heart Attack on the entire chain when they suddenly just drop and conk out for like 17 straight hours

if the reader and chain are friendly i think at some point they won't even bother waking reader up and will just carry them. twi would. four would in spirit if he weren't 4 foot nothing.

Sky is never going to find peace in that. He not only feels entirely responsible for every hero after him but he also now has to live with failing his children again.

Not to mention Wild's mortality issues.

That's okay, there's plenty of issues that Sky has to come to face.

Also, Sky has to handle the fact that other people raised his kids.

He WANTED his children. He misses them and loves them UNCONDITIONALLY. But someone else raised them, someone else re-named them and taught them to be people.

He feels like he's the WORST parent ever. At least Sun/ Hylia was as involved as she was able to be without breaking celestial law.

Does Hylia being Wild and Wind's moms factor into their hero quest story?

It does!

Neither Wild or Wind was born with the Hero's Spirit. Because they're Sky's kids and have the blood of One of Hylia's Chosen Hero's they can use the mastersword.

They're both Very Powerful thanks to their Semi Demi God status. Wind controls weather with ease and can dream walk

Wild can talk to dieties and Hylia personally revived him and made him Eldritch-y.

Hylia wanted her boys far away from the hero life, and that's why they had to work so hard for it, but she did her best to help them at the same time.

especially funny if it's the most random silliest stuff that makes the lads remember who you are x2, yelling repetitively at monsters when they're Too Close, the dramatic gasps, the panicked silences snd frantic laughter an acrid burn and soothing balm all at once

this brought to you by WITS is my hyperfixation, I call Skyward Sword Lanayru "stinky Lanayru" and thought "but only the place, not the dragon" until I had to get the Hylian shield and my final missing heart piece from that STINKY AWFUL DRAGON, and also my endless tears when I beat Demise, said goodbye to Impa twice, and watched through the beautiful credits movie while blubbering

(btw this saved me a lot of pain but in Skyward Sword if you get a guardian potion, amplify it, and it'll male you invulnerable to all attacks for 3 minutes, but if you'd gotten many (hehe all) goddess cubes like I did, you may have the potion medal, which will make you invulnerable for 9 minutes!) - 💙 anon

I can!

Hylia isn't mortal again for many reasons, including the amnesia, but even though she isn't Zelda anymore she WAS, that life was still HER. Wild and his Twin are not only Her Heroes, but they are Her Children.

She grew them. She named them. She loved them.

Hylia couldn't raise them herself, but when she found them again across time, she guided them to families where they would be nurtured.

She sent Wild to a family made up of a knight, a seer and Magic user, and two daughters. She sent him to a family that would love him as best they could although she can admit it went... South, she did handle that Incident herself as well.

She sent his twin to someone who would love him. She sent Wild's Twin to a family made up of a grandmother, a mother, and a baby girl. The mother didn't live long, but Hylia's son was loved deeply by his grandmother.

Just a war quartet idea

The depths are officially Wind's least favorite place in Wild's world, the only help is the fire rod Warriors has that he still hasn't given back to Legend. The fire rod keeps things lit enough to not immediately trip every other step.

The sailor sees a fire near a house of sorts, and he can't help but lead Warriors and time towards it. If there's someone else down here, they should see. Maybe the person can help!

Wind makes about ten feet from the house before a large figure with glowing eyes and strange glowing veins in their hands and forearms looms.

"Hello!" Wind calls as he gives a big, theatrical wave.

"How dare you wear their facesa?" A hauntingly familiar voice demands in a near growl.

"Myr-Myrah?" Time calls.

"I'll feed your guts to my wolf for this," the figure - Myrah snarls as she surges forwards with a spear.

Wind ducks outr of the path of the spear with a yelp, "Myrah?!"

"How did you even find out what they look like?!" She demands as she whips around and slams the back end of her spear into Time's chest plate.

The hit is violent and sends the man to the ground.

Warriors draws his sword and blocks the deadly arc of the spear. The shockwave makes his teeth vibrate.

"Myrah what are you doing?! It's us!" Wind calls.

Myrah gives a cold laugh, knocking the sailor off his feet and slamming the end of her spear backwards into Warriors.

"I will not let you disgrace my brothers this way," Myrah snarls.

She ducks Time's arm as the man reaches for her before she pushes up and headputs him in the chin.

She shoves him with her spear ti the ground.

"Myrah no!" Wind calls as he pushes to his knees. "Please! I don't know what's happened since we last saw you-"

Myrah snarls a particularly nasty and accusatory phrase in her mother tounge. Her voice darker than they males are used to hearing her aim at them.

She twists around, knocking aside Warriors' sword as she surges towards the sailor.

She kicks him down, keeping her foot on his chest.

Myrah sets the tip of her spear at Wind's throat, baring her too long and too sharp canines as she growls.

"I will burn every trace of your traitorous, conniving, weak group to ashes and scatter them so far apart not even the sands can remember you," her voice promises.

"Prin-princess?" Wind croaks weakly.

Weight slams into her from behind, taking Murah down at to the side as she flips around as best she can.

She hits the ground with a snarl and a thud. Time pins her down, sitting on her hips amd pressing his weight through his body and into his hands where he holds her forearms down.

"Myrah you have to stop. We don't want to hurt you," Time says.

She spits up at Time, grinning sharply when it lands on his cheek. "Fuck you, yiga coward."

"Yiga?" Time asks weakly.

Myrah dosen’t respond, instead she gives a whistle that sounds like it should call an animal of some kind.

There's an echoing howl.

"Princess you aren't making sense," Wind says as he stands behind Time.

"My boys are dead, and you don't get to disrespect their memory," Myrah snarls as she jerks upwards with all her force.

She slams her forehead into Time's nose and over balances the man, flipping him off of her.

Just as she settles atop Time and raises her spear a golden wolf jumps up and knocks her over.

Myrah falls with a grunt, twisting to stare up at the beast.

"What the hell?!" Myrah sneers as she pushes the wolf off. "You never turn down a chance to maul the yiga!"

The wolf just stares at her as it stands between her and the three men.

"Shade you mutt," Myrah huffs. "Move, I'm going to finish these traitors and you're in rhe way."

As she steps forward the wolf - Shade - growls a low warning sound.

"Princess just talk to us. We can help!" Wind says.

"Enough, sailor," Warriors says. "If that's Myrah she's not going to listen."

Myrah stares the wolf down, "Move, Bossy Pants."

Shade growls again, lower and longer. He bares his teeth at her. His single eye gazes at her with an intensity.

Myrah raises one brow, "Shade?"

Shade barks at hee before he walks over to wind and sits down, his tail wagging.

"Din's fucking tits, Bossy Pants, you're kidding me," she groans.

Shade barks again.

Myrah rolls her eyes. "Yeah yeah, fucking fine."

"Uh- what's happening?" Wind asks.

"Shade says you aren't Yiga. So if you are who you look like, prove it."

Do the loftwings that Wild and his twin have in that Hylia's boys au post you shared have names? Can you tell us about them?

Yes they do!

Wild's loftwing: Blueberry 'Blue'

Twin's loftwing: Sunshine 'sunny'

Blueberry is the same blue as Wild's eyes with white and darker blue accents on his wings and crest. He's named for Wild's favorite fruit. He's playful but gentle with kids, and he never gets over losing Wild, but he will always catch any child who needs it.

Sunshine is orange with pink and white accents on her wings and crest. She's named after what Sky calls Zelda sometimes. She's mischievous and adores shiny things. She never gets over losing her bonded hylian, but she also always catches any child that needs it.

Wild and his twin actually got their loftwing at roughly 18 months (1 1/2 years) old which is VERY early, while the average age is between 4-6. The lodtwings are also Very Young themselves.

Blueberry and Sunny stick close to Sky, Skunk, and their loftwings for the most part. They miss their bonded hylians, but they still seek their family.

He will offer a hand or pull out chairs for you even as you say things like 'aw thanks but I'm harder than *insert task*'

He's helping ypu off a horse with a simple "Careful" while you're covered in mud and cursing up a storm

"Allow me," he says as he takes over helping you with a jar after you threaten to break it

He also gets a kick out of your shirts he might borrow them
