Where there is muck there is brass. Enjoying a few pints at the pub after work. As usual me and the lads are filthy. Why do people still stare? If your issued one set of hi vis uniform and a wrecked pair of boots it's hard to keep it clean so you just stop worrying about it. Would you stare lol. Tonight the landlady's moaning as we are all sat on a chair inside. We normally sit outside. She's given us each a bin bag to put on the seat to protect it. I can't blame her. But we spend so much here you'd think she'd provide a table and chairs with a wipe down surface. She said she will consider it and put the chairs to one side and bring them out when we arrive after a shift.
