The call of duty fandom sucks and I wish I would've known that before I got here.

I really like COD and a ton of people here are fun, but the other half is insane. The amount of anon hate I get for saying fictional SA isn't sexy is something I've (slightly) gotten used to, but they don't bother me a lot.

The people on this platform, in this fandom, are often rude as hell, egotistical, and immature, not to mention smut addicts. With that being said, the teenage boys that call you dehumanizing slurs in the video game have more manners than some of these people.

And the sad thing is, a majority of them are women. Women in their twenties. It's insane. Sending someone death threats because they don't like your kink, have a different headcanon, or don't write for a scenario or character you like is insane and pitiful.

It's gotten to the point where writers I know are getting blocked for no reason, even after doing nothing wrong, just because people are too scared to interact with the fandom.

I like to be on the more accepting side of things with people and their interests, but I sending someone shit like that is mad wild.
