I love the way Light was in this chapter, “Pft, L, I just said that I love what you’ve done for me, not you. Like I could love you pft.” And later in the plot, when L’s playing cold with him, Light thinks, “I said that I loved him that time, but he didn’t believe me….”. What a dork.
