Decided to make dinner while watching the final episode so that I can blame my crying on cutting onions.

They could've done more, but they gave an ending that satisfied me nonetheless.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have more onions to dice. I'm making tomato soup to the best of my culinary inept ability.

Okay but the way this episode ended with the main conflict "resolved" (and I use that term VERY loosely,) I'm going to snatch Lauda's clown wig for a second and I'm determined to believe there will be a second season (or third depending on how you look at it.)

With how rushed these last few episodes were, unless the finale is longer than usual, they will have to face off against the Discount Death Star and give us an ending based on the aftermath which I hope (if it is the case) isn't open-ended because istg.

And despite the episode literally being titled "The Final Episode," I'm going to set myself up for heartbreak, because there's still so much that could happen and that they could do with this universe.

I know the fight scene between Lauda and Guel was supposed to be full of tension and shit, but everytime Lauda opened his mouth my mind just went:

Too many emotions about Episode 22 to process right now, but I just want to say I appreciate that the last moments of the episode with Suletta dodging all kinds of crazy ass lasers was a nice "take that" to all the people who have spent the whole show complaining about Suletta being "carried" by Ariel

Our tanuki was the best pilot at Asticassia with or without her sisters help.

Not Sunrise giving us a fencing duel between Guel and Suletta that's so out of place and goofy to animation flex but also shoehorn her back into being the holder just because they can.

I should hate it, but I can't.

Guel and Suletta are both dorks and I can totally see them having a dance battle to figure out who gets to play first on the playstation in another universe.

I've spent the week rewatching the series to prepare myself for the shit that's definitely going to be happening one way or another. Am I emotionally prepared?

No.

But that's not the point.
