Wrote a little thing between Shadow Milk and Eternal Sugar that takes place post ep. 10 of Beast Yeast. Enjoy >:)

The serpent wound its way around a branch, peering down at the Bringer of Happiness. 

“What did I tell you~” He sneered in a sing-song voice. “Hold on too tight and they run away-” 

“She’ll come back. They all come back. She’s going to realize how much she needs me and come back.” The serpent cackled, slithering down into his true form. 

“Take it from me, sweetheart,” Shadow Milk Cookie chuckled, “These ancient nuisances think they have it all figured out.” 

“But my other half doesn’t! She NEEDS me to be truly happy!!” Eternal Sugar Cookie cried. 

“If I…learned something from my ‘other half’,” Shadow Milk rolled his eyes, his voice laced with defeat. “It’s that sometimes you must face the…truth. And the truth is,” He floated dangerously close to Eternal Sugar’s face. “You’re as deceitful as I am.” 

“Absolutely not! I’m nothing like you, trickster!” Eternal Sugar scoffed, shoving him away. Shadow Milk laughed, rolling in the air. 

“Oh, PLEASE!! Of course you are! Convincing all these cookies that only YOU can make them happy is the purest form of deceit there is!” Shadow Milk tore into her. “You’ve even convinced YOURSELF that what you have with Hollyberry is some form of LOVE. You obviously have confused love with control. Trust me, sugar wings, she’s never coming back.” 

“If you know so much, how come you weren’t able to reclaim YOUR soul jam. Obviously you weren’t as close to your other half as you thought.” 

“I GOT CLOSE! I GOT SO CLOSE-” Shadow Milk’s sudden rage made Eternal Sugar laugh, 

“Awww, you really are cute when you’re mad!” 

“Hey, don’t steal my lines! This is MY show, after all.” Shadow Milk huffed. Eternal Sugar giggled, 

“But you’re still in MY garden. I can still send you flying back to that dark little spire of yours.” 

“But you won’t. Because that would be too hard.” Shadow Milk bit back. The two beasts laughed. “Forget about that shield-bearing BORE, center your obsession around a cookie who will keep you entertained.” Shadow Milk purred. 

“Oh, really, little serpent? Would you give up your little tricks for me, and stay in my garden forever?” 

“I don’t know, would you come down from your little sugar cloud and help me exact revenge?” The beasts were silent, almost genuinely debating the deal. Eternal Sugar Cookie grinned a sickeningly sweet smile

“...maybe we could work out a compromise.”

I love that when i posted my 2k dtiys, almost all of yall immediately picked up on the tgwdlm ref, which inspired me to finally start getting around to making this animatic

ALSO, this is my first time trying toonsquid!! I’ve heard great things about it and finally decided to try it. Honestly its not too bad, can take some getting used to-
