Mastering the Art of clout ??
I don't understand how some people can't differentiate between "noticing" and "papansin" (attention-seeking). "Papansin" behavior is often annoying. The person engaging in it may be unaware or unwilling to acknowledge this, believing their actions are acceptable. In my experience, I've encountered some incredibly annoying individuals—one recently on a certain platform ( i’d rather not divulge) . Some people can be remarkably inconsiderate. Their behavior might stem from a lack of attention in childhood, a theory I find plausible.
My usage of this certain platform has changed over the years. Initially, I only followed foreign pop artists, but now I also follow some local artists where fans , some of whom seem to be clout-chasing. I'm uncertain about the exact definition of clout-chasing, as it wasn't covered in my Mass Communication coursework at FEU (even though I didn't pursue that field) as I shifted to another course however, it took me 3 yrs before I shifted, no sign of clout chasing was ever tackled. While I studied Journalism, Public relations, and Public speaking, it wasn't ever discussed or covered to the best of my recollection. It's actually a prevalent phenomenon on social media platforms like TT, perhaps driven by a hunger for fame and attention, even in the absence of talent as I learn overtime.
The problem is that some creators are quite annoying and constantly appear on my FYP (For You Page). I have this certain standard to the people I should admire and should look up to. I want to set a good example also for my son and avoid influencers who are more of a distraction than a positive influence.
Perhaps some intention is stemming from childhood experiences. I still find it hard to understand why some would cross boundaries to achieve online fame ("clout"). Some of my peers share some negative opinion , describing them as aspiring artists despite lacking talent and somehow I agree.
Also , the essence of talent as an art is being compromised. For me , true artist offer genuine art not just mere superficial talent ;No talent /not art is obviously equivalent to clout.
Yes, we can block them, but it's disheartening how mababaw people's standards overtime have become for role models we look up to . 😕😕
I rest my case..

Ano na??
I've been contemplating what to write lately. I can’t squeeze in time to write too. Although, sometimes I got tempted to do it on the spot. Many events have made it difficult to find the time. These past few weeks I have been busy with my business, my child's school enrollment, birthdays, and gatherings. The constant stream of gatherings made it difficult to say no to family events, as they tend to be offended if I'm not around. Celebrations here, there, and everywhere! I also intended to start a diet, but the many events with yummy foodies made that impossible. I'd planned to apply for a gym membership but my busy schedule would be a hindrance . Walking and jogging might be a better option for me. Also, I'm hesitant to build muscle/ do a weight training bec as far as I know consistency is the key otherwise those muscles can turn to fats. Besides, I prefer a feminine figure, not a muscular one. Di pa ako nag gym nito so what more pa if I hit the gym?? 😳😳😝 The thing is I easily gain weight and I easily lose weight. I have no idea how the thing works, even my dad was shocked how sudden my weight changes in only a matter of week!
I've been focused on achieving some personal goals lately too . I prefer to keep them private, as the saying goes, "Don't jinx it." These are long-overdue goals, and I feel a strong need to achieve them before it's too late. They've been a vision of mine for years, but time constraints, budget limitations, and competing priorities have held me back. I'm determined to achieve this before it's too late, regardless of whether I have my family's support.

Been a while..
I've been resting the past few days because I've been feeling tireless, sometimes with muscle cramps in the morning. However, I haven't been able to fully rest due to numerous errands. The start of NCAP has also added to my stress. I especially hate heavy traffic; even with music to dance and sing along to, to somehow alleviate boredom on traffic, it's still incredibly frustrating. EDSA is the worst! I once heard a funny story about a driver who washed his car under the scorching heat of the sun in EDSA while stuck in traffic. I probably would have laughed so hard if I was there.
Traveling Commonwealth Avenue, even a short distance of 20km to Cubao, can take about 2-3 hours. Totoo yan! Grabe! In contrast, a 79km drive in Bohol took only for about 45 mins to 1 hr, with average speed, I guess, like mine, 80-100 kph on a straight, traffic-free road. Driving in the province is definitely more fun. When traveling alone, I've even pushed the speed limit cautiously.
I sometimes took a photo of my speedometer when I reach my target speed, a small way to celebrate. 😆 I often drive alone in the city, as I find staying at home too quiet. The silence of the province is different; you hear a variety of animal and insect sounds ( like you want to identify what animal / insect was it ), sometimes feeling like you're living in a forest! 😆

Once, the sorcerers student stole the head of Orion. Every night the great hunter would make his trek through the heavens, ending it with a bath in the lake where he would wash his body after the hunt. The sorcerers student, coveting his brilliance for himself contrived a plot to take it. He gathered spring herbs and burned them one evening, along with wood and car tires creating a thick smog that lay itself as fog over the lake. When the constellation knelt to cleanse himself in the waters he did not see the man standing on the shore, and as he bent to dive, his head was plucked from his neck.

I think its Beauty and the Beast by The Rose. My fave band! I hope you find time to listen to their songs! They’re such a beauty!
If you have Spotify reblog this and tag what your number one song on your “on repeat” playlist is.

Anong lasa ng Uling at bubog?? 😢
I came across individuals on certain social media platforms going to extreme lengths to gain views. Some examples include eating burnt wood (kahoy or uling) and broken glass (bubog). While many find this entertaining, I can't help but wonder about their thought processes. Do they consider their health and the potential long-term consequences of such actions? It's disheartening to think that poverty might drive people to such extremes.
I hope the government will implement effective poverty alleviation programs to prevent people from resorting to such dangerous acts for online fame. While the allure of recognition is understandable, the potential health risks are scary! No one wants to eat burnt wood or broken glass; it's a desperate measure! While it's such a cliche’ to always blame the Government when it comes to poverty, the Gov’t still must take responsibility for creating programs that ease the financial burdens of its people to prevent them to go great lengths to earn money! 😟😢
