Mental illnesses aren’t a stigma. I just created my first blog that I intend to use to discuss my own mental illness as well as talk about the trials I’ve gone through and ways I’ve coped and etc. I’m hoping this will help others feel less alone in their own personal battles. My first post was one of the hardest things I’ve ever written out because it’s the most painful experience I’ve ever gone through. 🌸💕 I love you all. You are not alone.

Some Hurricane Irma preparations

Seeing as how the hurricane is destined to hit the east coast of Florida and possibly other parts of the US here’s a checklist of things you’ll need in case of a power outage.

Flashlights, (battery operated) lanterns, candles

Canned foods such as chili, soup, chef boyarde

Peanut butter and bread

Water both in bottles & gallons

Dry pet food for your pets

Charcoal or firewood

Matches and lighters

Batteries in AA, AAA & 6V

Tampons, pads, and deodorant

A portable phone charger for each member of your family

Bags of ice + coolers

Toilet paper

5 Gallon gas can

A waterproof wrist watch

First Aid Kit

Bug Spray

Books, playing cards, and board games (trust me, during a power outage it gets boring AF bc time feels like it’s running slow)

Also somethings to do before the Hurricane hits you

Make sure to do all your laundry - there’s nothing worse then having no fresh clothes to wear because of no power.

Set all your Soundcloud/Spotify playlists on offline mode - some good music will help make the hurricane less dreadful

Now is the time to finish up that jug of milk and empty your fridge of anything that could spoil/rot without refrigeration.

Hours before the hurricane hits, If you have a bath tub fill it up so that you can get running water for your toilet.

Make sure you have cash on you and that your wallet contains your state ID

I have reason to believe that someone is going around into other people’s accounts and sending them messages on IM with fake links. 

This happened to me just now. I thought it was suspicious after seeing the tinyurl link, but I clicked it anyway and it brought me here:

Whatever you do, DO NOT LOG IN. Take a closer look at the URL at the top.

This is a scam. It’s a website made to look like tumblr’s home page, and it will steal your information and hack you right out of your account.

My guess is that this has already happened to tumblr user @turntableking and their account is being used to drag more people in.

SIGNAL BOOST!!!!!!!!

Okay that virus that’s going around, is seriously fucking scary. I got the same thing on my computer about a week ago and I got rid of it, but it took a lot. This type of virus can control your browser, it can control your webcam, it can control all your files, and track you.

If you’ve seen the post already, do not click on the user if someone like this follows you. 

 If you do on accident, you will be taken to an FBI site, which tells you you’ve viewed pornography and stuff. Looks a little like this…

It asks you to pay a fine. ITS NOT REAL. DO NOT PAY IT. You won’t be able to leave the page, or close your browser. Your computer is probably infected now, and you need to remove it.

Click ctrl-alt-delete at the same time and open task manager. Shut down your browser. Uninstall it completely. 

Reset your computer to the last known date when you didn’t have the virus.  

Install and Run malawarebytes. It’s a free service, that get’s rid of all bugs in your computer. The download link is here. Most antivirus softwares can’t detect things like this, so your best bet is to just download it. Run a full scan to ensure your computer is clean.

Restart your computer, and you should be fine. 

The main thing here is to not panic. I did, and it just makes the situation worse than it really is.  

If you have seen a post about it, you’ll see that icon, and a URL with random letters. Please don’t risk it, you’ll have to work really hard to get it off your computer. Be careful, and DO NOT PANIC. Here is another tutorial on how to get rid of it,
