my thoughts after finishing five dark fates

major spoilers !!!

- i like emilia and jules' relationship HOWEVER let's pls not act like kendare not killing off her gay characters is like, amazing

- the progression of billy and arsinoe's relationship in this series is pretty sad. honestly that "we were different people" scene really hurt me

- i was honestly more devastated by mirabella's death than i imagined. i never hated her, but i just always preferred arsinoe or katharine above her, yknow? but when kat launched her over the hill, i... rly felt something. its so weird to see a character go through all that shit and at their death, realize that this really is the end. its strange and sad

- speaking of deaths, i had expected kat that was gonna die but im glad at least she got a respectable death. she died saving a sister she had barely seen throughout their life. reading arsinoe and pietyr looking at the flames of the dead sisters was what really got me. again, that weird feeling of knowing that character you love is gone and not coming back. with that being said, katharine deserved better!!!!!

- jules is now disabled and i swear if fan artists/writers leave that shit out in their content ill have a little chat with them

- knowing mira, kat and arsinoe never got to be happy sisters since their time at the black cottage has to be the biggest kick in the balls of them all. mirabella made up with the other two individually but never since they were separated at the black cottage were they ever truly happy together and that shit sucks

- btw what was with that scene in the first temple how do u go from exploring an extremely important location to the story's lore to being like "lol and then mirabella died" like ?????

Just finished reading the Lord of the Rings to my kid. At no point did they say “I want to hear more about Sam, dad. Why didn’t they put in more of his talk, dad?” Not sure at what point I failed as a parent, or what to do now.
