The Drabble Dump 1: Nothing

Pairing: Richard Madden x Unnamed OFC

Summary: She just shouldn’t have asked.

Author’s Note: Incredibly random. I have a ton of drabbles that I’ve written just to pass the time and to help my writer’s block throughout Take Me Away. I’ve decided to start sharing them. Here’s a random one just because. Bye x

Nothing —

Richard looks at her and thinks about the sun, the rays of light that nature bears for warmth and life; the wind beneath tree branches that carries songs in months of spring.

A masterpiece in bloom, she is in his eyes. Beauty like that of a kind he’s never heard of, a kind he cannot put into words.

“What is it?” she asks toward the heavy presence of wandering eyes.

“Nothing.” The smile on his face widens and curves ever so slightly.

“Am I nothing to you?”

The bed dips beneath them when she rolls onto her side, mirroring the man before her in an attempt to close the space in between.

Richard leans forward and kisses her softly, their lips perfectly piecing together at a snail’s pace, one savoring the other’s touch. A crave like no other, though it happens often, it feels anew each time.

A small bite from her makes him chuckle, and he replies, “Was that nothing?”

“You’d have to do it again because I couldn’t tell.”

Mischievous, and devilishly alluring—yet another addition to her impeccable rap sheet of games. Provocative. Tempting. He thinks, good thing it takes two to play.

Richard snakes his arm around her waist and down her backside while his lips and teeth attack her neck. He pins her to the mattress. She wants to squeal, but holds it in, only letting the sounds of her heavy panting fill the room. It doesn’t last very long, but the heat in her core does.

He pauses to stare down at her as a vibration tickles his mouth. There is an evident plead in her eyes that digs into his own. Desire that shoots more than daggers, but still demands for the softness of clouds.

She still cannot think properly. “Am I nothing to you?” she repeats.

His knee is between her legs, nudging them open. A hand makes its way to her panties, and it rests there, just above the waistband. He snaps it against her hip.

���You’re really going to be like that, love?”

“Like what?”

A finger hooks onto the elastic and tugs it downward. She lifts herself up to help him, but he doesn’t need it. They’re off in a matter of seconds.

“Richard—” she gasps.

“To be frank,” he begins, nipping the skin along her collarbone. “You are...” He makes an abrupt turn and places two fingers atop her bud, massaging it as her juices start to taint his palm.

“Richard,” she whines, throwing her head back into the pillows.

“You... are...” he huffs between kisses, “Everything to me.”

Hi so I just wrote a very random drabble because I was so stuck at drafting Chapter 32 SO (I say “so” a lot so) yeah. If you come across it here and read it, tell me what you think though I must warn you, it’s Lena running on no sleep and 20 minutes of writing time. I just wanted to practice a bit since Take Me Away is going a bit slow (my apologies!!) and I just keep getting STUCK ugh. So anyway, it’ll be queue’d up.

(I also feel like my app isn’t working properly so the format is bothering me; currently trying to fix it.)

Tell me why (ain’t nothin’ but a heartache) I just had a dream where it was the D23 Expo again (yes, Boyband!Sebastian) and the scene was Anthony Mackie and Emily VanCamp dancing onstage in sync (NSYNC) and then the view pans to the left revealing SEBASTIAN STAN freakin daNCING oFF KEY in the DORKISH waY possible RUINING the whoLE perfORMANCE.

My dreams knew what they were doing with this one.

isn’t it shocking that richard madden isn’t an asshole lmao he’s literally a rich white man that looks Like That he could do whatever he wanted, like be the worst asshole, and get away with it but he’s just this giggly oddly shy at times scottish actor very committed to his work and he’s apparently an anxious babie and he’s ridiculously modest and his costars all fall in love with him and he builds lego t-rexes in his spare time and keeps things like dressing gowns from sets and blushes really easily i mean hello?????
