Why dont you like Willow?

i don’t really care for the magic as addiction storyline and the way she was acting that entire plotline really pissed me off tbh. which is probably an accurate portrayal of what addiction looks like but idk it just felt… too obvious? idk how to explain it. so the storyline itself plus her behavior just was not it for me.

i will say, though, i just watched the s6 finale and i did like the way it all wrapped up. i definitely still have some issues with it, but i’ll give it to ‘em. that finale kinda redeemed the whole storyline for me.

hate when people are always like "oh audiences don't want 22 episode seasons anymore they want shorter seasons and tighter storylines!" and then you look at the shorter season and it has multiple episodes longer than an hour, sometimes even rivaling or surpassing the average length of a marvel movie, with the worst pacing known to mankind and somehow everything is still rushed , and it's like actually ☝️ i would love a 22 episode season of 25 or 40 minute well-paced episodes with an arc that unfolds at a reasonable speed and suspense over the full season's runtime. which is probably the same damn length minutewise as your 10 episode crime against god at this point.

hello friend! thank you SO much for asking, i’d love to tell you!

dnd is going well! for ginny’s campaign, joe (our dm) just asked us to level up our previous characters to 20 for a special cameo, since that campaign has essentially morphed into what c3 was to critical role’s previous campaigns. our previous campaign ended abruptly, so it’s really special to be able to give gen a proper send off. we’re gearing up to take on vecna and disable the ritual he performed to rewrite reality and save vox machina (in this reality vecna won and ascended. vox machina is all missing). our old pcs so far have been npcs equivalent to vox machina, which is so fun. it’s been so so cool to get to interact with them at their prime and have them be the ones giving us important info and quests.

joie’s campaign is THRIVING. we’re in the verstglade, which i’ve been wanting to go to for MONTHS, and joie just got to take over a hut of hags and claim it as her own. also, she might have been there when the luxon beacon was created? CRAZY STUFF.

for the streamed game, we’ve only had our session zero, but our first stream is set for next month! i also joined more of a casual game (no professional dm) with a bunch of internet pals playing a tiny fairy barbarian named poppy and i am honestly shocked to tell you i’m loving being a barbarian! although, i suspect being 6 inches tall while being super fucking strong has something to do with it.

so anyway, i’d say it’s going well! i’ve got betrayers tonight, which is joie’s game, and i cannot wait. you didn’t hear it from me, but that one is my favorite currently.

Embroidery onto fabrics and turning them into book cloth has to be one of the most rewarding ways to bind books. It creates lovely dimension and helps to give the book character that you may not achieve by just cloth alone.

i think about my ex bff telling me in our last fight that she “didn’t think i had the emotional maturity to handle the situation” all the time. for vastly different reasons. half the time it’s “how fucking dare she, of all people, say that to me fuck her” and the other half it’s “you know what, yeah”
