nobody really talks about the gross parts of depression very much outside of “personal hygiene gets hard!” but i am here to tell you i spent literal years struggling to even brush my teeth and as a result my overdue dental cleaning turned into three hours, three fillings, and a temporary crown. and when i go back to get the permanent crown? three more fillings.
not only did it suck ASS, but i also got hit with thousands of dollars in bills. idk really feels like a kick in the gut when going to the dentist at ALL was a huge step in finally taking care of myself again
