3. Hiyori's scandal

We all know this was gonna happen, we saw the MV. And it really did happen in HeroTaru. But then again the novel never mentioned anything about that. It never mentioned about the scandal, about who was the culprit, about Hiyori quitting her job, not at all! And yet the anime made it all happen. But in the novels, Chizuru and Juri's names were never mentioned, it just says "Hiyori's closes friends", I guess that's why the scandal never happened.

And also, we got a glimpse of what seems to be Hiyori on TV with someone, guessing it's another scandal, in Fansa. And that brings me back to the topic of Mona's timing, in Fansa we could see that She's looking at the TV, surprised about the scandal, but it doesn't seem like she knows who it is. But in the anime Mona saw it on TV and immediately (allegedly) thought of Hiyori, these are two different scandals but Mona always ends up watching it on TV. So does that mean Hiyori's gonna be in another scandal? I sure hope so if it means going back to the original plot.

4. Moments of Yujiro and Hiyori

I guess from the Nagisa vent you could already tell that I'm a Yuhiyo shipper, I really love them. The novels gave me a new perspective of how those two could actually be a thing, but sadly that never happened in HeroTaru.

I mean, in the novel there was a scene where Hiyori tried to help Yujiro from being bullied, but she gets pushed and boy Yujiro was furious. But in the anime Hiyori only helped by calling out to him that the competition was about to begin. I mean she didn't have much time to think of a solution, but I really like the novel better bcs it shows that Hiyori wouldn't waste a second to help her friends, she's more fearless in the novels.

These are the most obvious reasons why HeroTaru would be better of not being HeroTaru, don't get me wrong, I appreciate the effort the staff and directors gave into making this anime, but I don't think it surpassed my expectations. Especially in the topic of Hiyori's love life.

I don't usually like to vent, but this is quite urgent. About a year ago HeroTaru was released, when it did, I was pretty excited and waited patiently every week for new episodes. When that finished, I found out there's a novel so I read both No fantasy and Heroine development plan.Recently I found a lot of comments saying HeroTaru would be perfect if it followed the original plot, aka the novel plot, and I agree. So I decided to make...

*Things that I think better of shouldn't happen and what should happen in HeroTaru*

1. The most obvious one... Nagisa's appearance

I didn't think too much of it at first, sure Nagisa is pretty nice, we were given a glimpse of Hiyori's past and I don't think that ever happened in the novel, and he mostly changed the whole plot of the story.

And that's the thing, HIS APPEARANCE SHIFTED THE WHOLE STORY! HeroTaru was suppose to be about Hiyori falling in love with someone, not the other way around. Plz don't attack me, but I really hate Nagisa, he is not needed for the story, his appearance came out as a surprise attack. I mean why would they suddenly change Hiyori's fate so abruptly?! Yujiro was here first btw.And now there's a new MV bases on the anime, like what?! Why would they do that?! The reason why the boys helped her dress up was because she fell in love, not for her childhood best friend! Their making it as if Heroine development plan and Heroine tarumono MV's didn't even existed?!

2. Mona's appearance

Imean, it's not like I hate it, Mona's kinda like the only person in the anime who could give Hiyori decent advice, and who relates to her a lot. I love their friendship. But the timing of their meeting doesn't make any sense. Mona debuted as an Idol around the beginning of highschool, and same goes for Hiyori who started her job as manager in training. So we could assume that their meet was before Christmas and after August or September. I've been following up on Mona's manga, and it really didn't specify the month of her debut, or the month they're currently on rn. And also, Aizo had an incounter with Mona after her first concert, and Hiyori isn't there, so I'm guessing this was before she got the job, or else they would have cross paths.
