As a person with children let me help some people along:

Nothing scary happened to her. She was raised with a rigid understanding of gender that is clearly enforced by her mother. I teach my children about different types of bodies, families, races, and cultural practices because I expect them to be respectful to others. She was not taught well because homophobic, racist, and sexist people are worse parents 100 percent of the time. Any normalization of that little girls reaction as natural is transphobic.

Maybe you should have paid more attention to those evil christmas videos of white parents giving their kids black dolls and filming them crying. The conversation always becomes about how the child didn't know, and it allows people to excuse racism and even believe it's a normal reaction. It never is, that child reacts that way because the parents were clearly racist thats why they were filming.

That woman and her brat ruined the safety of the innocent woman working at that store. They invaded a space she had worked hard to obtain and is not even a high paying job . They were hostile and violent towards her, and they were rewarded for it. Every time you give them another inch, they fully plan to take it to hurt as many people that they can.

So much of controlling women is fear. If it involves you being scared for women of girls, you have to question it. Every time.
