Surrogacy in Greece Surrogacy in Greece can have all the couples on the condition that the mother concerned has not exceeded the 50 year of age. To start the surrogacy process will need to get permission from the Court. The Court is not required to be there, the lawyer can represent you. There lawyer will present the necessary documents to give us permission to start. Supporting them are: birth certificate (to see the exact age), certificate of marital status (to see if you have other children), marriage certificate (if applicable), Identity, medical opinion (where the medical reason weakness pregnancy) and blood tests (to see that the baby would go to a healthy environment). The judicial authorization will be pushed around in less than a month. Then we can proceed normally in embryo transfer. The surrogate will start medication for embryo transfer and if we haven't frozen embryos and in your medication or to the donor. Embryos can be from your own genetic material or a donor. The egg and sperm donations in Greece are anonymous by our law. Neither you will know who they are nor the giver will know about you. You can choose your donor base of external characteristics, marital status, studies etc. You will be given a list of the IVF Center to fill out in order to find a suitable donor for you. Two weeks after embryotransfer becomes the blood examination for the certification of the pregnancy. This repeat every three days to see the development of rates. After two weeks or so we have the first ultrasound to confirm the heart beat of the fetus and the achievement of pregnancy. From there onwards made frequent blood tests and ultrasounds in surrogate for proper stretching of pharmaceutical education. You hear about all the results and it is important to watch the three important and large ultrasonic the third month, the fifth and the seventh month of pregnancy. By the judicial authorization when your baby is born your names will be written in the birth certificate of the baby and no surrogate's mother's! Surrogate name will be only in the medical test that she will do durring the pregnancy. Three days after your baby is born you will need to go to your embasy here in Greece to make baby's passport and then you are ready to go home.
