Moving

So last two weeks have been hectic and I have been moving from my tiny little farming town to one of the bigger cities in my state. Been a bit of a culture shock, but I hope to actually get back to producing art and books soon. I didn't have internet for a week and holy crap did that make the first week slow.

So I am working on my projects it has hit a small bump in the road. I need covers and a lot of artists charge a lot, (it's not that I don't wanna pay them! I just....don't have money). Anyway I do also draw and do art I am just a traditional medium of pencil, charcoal, water color, and gouuche. I generally paint for stress reasons though and don't really... share because they are personal. However due to the above I bought a cheap tablet and an okay program to work with. it also led to this convo with my mom "It's a good thing you write horror" "Why? Are my paintings that bad" "No. They are just. . . . haunted."

*me and partner complaining about the state of the world* Partner - As much as I hate them I doubt I could actually kill someone. I wouldn't be able to live with the guilt. Me- I just don't want to go to jail, and or be killed on site. Partner - *hugs me* yeah we are just both a couple softies Me- . . . . I think you misunderstood what I said.

In todays episode of me injuring myself in ways you can not even imagine. I popped one of the bones in my hand for overworking (over lifting) at work. the bone that is under your thumb - the one directly under that popped out of place. I was able to pop it back in but apparently I get to wear a brace for two weeks -_- How? I pull(ed) green chain, and I was pulling 8 hours a day. 6 days a week for the last couple of months. "I don't know what that is." there are youtube videos of it, and my average was 4,000 sheets a night.

So a lot of crazy shit has happened in my life over the last few months. in July I left a job, and I legit took a full month off to just decompress (when i finished two books they are in editing now) I got another job (basically last job just a different company). They got me totally trained for EVERY position in that place it took 2 months. once that was ALL done and I was supposed to start my more office duties. . . they fired me. "We thought we would have a higher census and hadn't expected to be stuck this low, so we are sorry we have to let you go." me- . . . you guys spent about 10,000 on me to train me. You have wasted so much of your (and my) time. so then no job again only NOW was running low on savings. I got another job within 4 days, (wooh) but now I am working in a mill. I actually love it. Everyone - but isn't it boring? You are just doing like the same thing over and over again. Me- oh yeah totally having an assigned task that is 100% pattern recognition over and over again and has designated break time and lunch time, sooooo terrible. Anyway this has all slowed editing down but just letting you all know I am not dead and stories are still being worked on.

proceeds to break glasses, pour hot oil on self, break my $200 headphone, and break one of my teeth in half me - Maybe if I hold really still life will think I'm dead and leave me alone.

this didn't happen all at once, just through the last 24 hours.

I was re-reading the official release of Abduction and I noticed a couple formatting errors. I have fixed these and will be reuploading it and making it free for a week. It will take me a bit to get everything up because the program is finicky, but need to make the correction. I will post links when it is done. Also re-reading the whole series reminded me of the literal cinnamon roll that Liam is and he must be protected at all costs.

If you ever want to laugh at something know that the first time me and my boyfriend watched Demon Slayer he had to pause it after Inosuke was introduced to say, "I mean this with love, but that is exactly how you behave 98% of the time." And literally every single friend, (after seeing this show) also said this. Now know that I only say this because I was forced to endure Dining Etiquette and Manner classes as a child and as an adult have done fine dining service management. My favorite hobby is existing as I truly am, and then be insulted about manners, only to critique them into submission. My other favorite hobby is sticking an whole chicken wing in my mouth and spitting out the clean bones.

The fact that I was contacted about my 9-1-1 dispatch test results on 9/11 amuses me greatly.

I didn't pass because of literally one section. I can re-take it in two weeks but it is annoying.

talking to an old coworker, (where I was the nutritionist/kitchen manager for a hospital). Her - what are you going to do now? Look for work at another hospital? Me - nah thinking of actually using my degree. Her- isn't the nutrition your degree? Me- Well yes, but no my first degree was for welding/engineering. I also had a robotics phase because I really liked making circuit boards. Her - ...how did you get here? Me- *shrug*
