I feel like Skylar definitely should’ve had a harder time integrating into the EF as a team. When she was a superhero, she worked solo, so it was really weird to me that she was able to lead the team well when she doesn’t really have leadership skills? Yes, she can work collaboratively with Kaz and Oliver, but I don’t think Skylar would be equipped to lead, even if she is a superhero, because that is not how she worked?

Underrated character - Make something about an underrated character. Not necessarily your favorite, just a character that doesn't get much appreciation from the fandom.

Pre-canon / unlikely duo

Pre-canon - The EFCU has a lot of neat pre-canon lore, and tons of wiggle room. Play around with it!

Unlikely duo - Take two characters who would never be in the same room, and put them in the same room. What happens next?

Headcanon / POVswap

Headcanon - Make content related to a headcanon you have!

POVswap - Take a canon scene, and make something about different characters' perspective(s) on it!

Fix-it / 5+1

Fix-it - We all have parts of canon that we wish we could change or "fix". So do it!

5+1 - A "5+1" fic usually takes the format of "5 times [character] did [x], and 1 time they did [y]".

Subversion / songfic

Subversion - Take a trope, cliche, genre, or popular fanon interpretation/headcanon and flip it on its head! The sky's the limit!

Songfic - A "songfic" is just a fanfiction inspired by a particular song. Do you have a song that reminds you of a show, scene, character etc? Make something about it!

I literally can't make it through ONE episode of elite force. why? oliver. I mean, jake short does his best with what he's given, but the disgusting mischaracterization and writing for his character actually makes me want to crawl out of my skin.

like. yeah. everyone is written much worse and ooc (chase is too angry and grates on my eardrums, kaz is either really smart or braindead which annoys the hell outta me(plus has like. nothing going on after the first ep when they could've done something interesting with his anger), bree is much bitchier, and skylar is WAY too holier-than-thou) but how DARE they take oliver, the sweet boy he was, and twist him into such a disgusting, creepy, frightening character. they could've made something interesting out of his relationship with his mother and the fallout of everything but nooooo, let's make these horrifying jokes at female teammate all the time and have absolutely no substance

So true and I like both of them. The Davenport boys have such great chemistry and really feel actual brothers. I understand why Donald is considered controversial in the fandom, but I still like the character.

AGREE SO MUCH! Leo was basically the main character. I do think the reason behind the scenes was that some of the actors wanted to move on from Disney and do other things. Still, Elite Force suffered from lack of Leo and Adam.

i liked elite force but i think it sucks that we don't get to follow leo and adam's story as well i mean why would u split them up at all and why don't we follow leo cause he's kinda the main character out of the four like i know it's a spinoff but still the splitting them up was so forced

So, the scene where Marcus meets Leo, we discover that they had multiple classes together and were literally lab partners. And Marcus claims he "didn't know that". A lot of people have said that either Marcus was lying or just has extreme tunnel vision when it comes to his mission, BUT it's way funnier to consider that Marcus just didn't know AB&C had a step-brother and that's part of why he was so hostile to Leo. The way it's a recurring bit for Marcus to show up in odd places? ("Hey, Marcus-- MARCUS!?") Yeah, Leo is that for Marcus. He once turned around to find this kid IN HIS HOUSE.

Something so funny about a character whose on-screen presence is completely different from their off-screen characterization. Donald INSISTS that in his youth he was a straight-laced nerd who had no friends or fun while in the episode where he's de-aged to 15 he almost blows up the house and in the one flashback we see he was clearly a hippie in college.
