I used to have the same issue!! If you put a towel over the metal they usually stop chewing/shaking it. And a wide based dog bowl is harder for them to flip. She looks like an adorable little menace<3

Penelope is so polite it's ridiculous. She respects personal space. Today I repeated an experiment I did a couple months ago - can the girl find the banana being held aloft in my hand? She could tell there was banan, but her little snoot could not find it! She ended up licking my jeans instead. (Yes, she got a few pieces anyway for her trouble.)

Today went much the same. For whatever reason, Penelope is unwilling to climb on me, even in pursuit of fruit. She flat out honked at me, and, after a beat, thumped for good measure.

Penelope was well compensated for her hardship, but still gave me a Look.
