Hi! Of course, you can! I’ve had a few panic attacks myself so ill be using some personal experiences for this, but I understand that not everyone reacts in the same way, so ill try to cater to that as well! - Mod Kiibo
You had been anxious all morning, you had just woken up on edge and hadn’t been able to shake it
And as such, you found yourself having a panic attack when you had been called up to present a project. You knew it was coming but you were still dreading it, and when your name had been called your breathing had gone quick and shallow and you knew what was happening, but it was too late to stop it
You ran out of the room, vision blurring as you dashed to the out of order bathroom down the hall, knowing it would be empty, a good place for you to deal with this without being stared at
Unknowingly, Ouma had followed you. You had run by his class and he had made up an excuse to go after you, sneaking into the bathroom and finding you pacing and panting, nails digging into your palms, trying to ground yourself
“(Y/N)-chan? Are you okay? Whats wrong?”
Ouma had never seen you like this before, you had kept your panic attacks a secret, not wanting him to see you so low, and you burst into tears at the sight of him
Ouma was worried, almost visibly so, so he reached out his hands and offered them to you
“Can you talk?”
You shook your head, already fighting to breath, but you did take his hands and squeeze tightly
“Alright, just breath in and out slowly, (Y/N)-chan. Keep squeezing my hands, yeah, like that! Jeez, since when are you so strong?”
He kept trying to make you laugh or smile until finally, he got one out of you, breaking into a grin
“Wanna hug? You have to promise to keep breathing though, or my followers will start leaving notes on your desk!”
If you were okay with hugging him then he would pull you close and gently pet your hair, letting you settle down before trying to get anything out of you
If you weren’t okay with that much contact he would settle for stroking his thumbs over your knuckles and trying to distract you until your breathing evened out and you felt ready to talk
“What was that all about? Does that happen often? Did someone do something to you because my followers will-”
You shook your head, explaining that you had been feeling anxious and when you had to present, it just all became too much for you to handle
“T-this doesn’t happen all the time but… sometimes… I just can’t take it.”
Ouma nodded, thinking for a moment. He wanted to support you and make you feel better, but it was a little hard for him to know what to do
But he understood the feeling, frankly, from when he was younger, from when he wasn’t the Ouma you knew
“Nishishi, I have an idea! How about I sneak into your class? That way you can look at my cute face when you’re up there and not those randos!”
It was an unusual plan, but you were hopeful, so you went back to class and got your teacher to let you present the next day
When you did, somehow Ouma was there, hiding but making sure you could see him as you presented
It went fairly well, anytime you got anxious you looked at him and he would grin or do something silly and you would feel more relaxed
You made sure to tell him when you were close to panic attacks now, knowing he would help you without any judgment
