I've thought about it before, but - I think I'm keeping the Lending Library fics purely Lobcorp/Ruina era based? Or at least, keeping the Limbus side and the Sinners as background events.
Mostly this is just because I want it to be clean and tidy, tbh, but...
There is also an aspect of me wanting to give the dantayin stuff real good focus and not let it get lost in all the other stuff. I already have something that's admittedly only a few hundred words long that I want to do more for, which will cover what someone prompted me, and I'd had ideas for it for ages.
It's simply a matter of the Librarians being easier for me to write, and more fun, and.... there's seriously somewhere around 3.7k more Limbus fics than there are Ruina fics. Nearly 200 more pages of it.
No wonder I'm having trouble finding stuff for my faves, y'know? So I might as well be the change and write what I want to see into the world.
So, basically- the Limbus fics will come, just... not there.

The way you draw Benjamin and Ayin as lil creatures reminds me of those jiggly cat pudding jellos. Makes me wanna boop em with a spoon or wobble em on a plate.
Heheh, they do, don't they?
Wibble....
I'll admit the tails were probably half inspired from the HSR catcakes, too. Which are also sweet little things.

this bird has stolen three weeks of my motivation
Not done, but fuck, I'm posting the damn thing anyway
Gotta finish the Talons and Tail feathers, Redestinguish the outlines between the wings and neck, add more tinier patterning on the other wing.
I think I need a new color on the tail feathers too? Like, where the orange is on the two there. If I add a hint of pink or red, and it could look good! But tbh, I kinda like the way the tail feather looks- Reminds me of a cartoonish lion tail. Idk if I'll keep it like that or not tho.
Kinda wanna touch up the eye- The horizontal stitch looks wrong. But if I keep fucking with it, I'll destroy the fabric and layering. Hm.
No infinite cake glitch for me I suppose >=^/
Actually, looking at it now, I really like how nice the details on the wing came out! It looks like its cracking open to reveal the fire, which is different but honestly pretty cool! The talons, too- They don't look right but they do look good!
Huh. That actually makes me less upset.

Since I'm therapist-posting recently:
Legitimately self-compassion is the biggest mental health life hack of all time. I'm NOT talking about self-esteem. You do NOT have to like yourself one bit. You don't have to believe that you're a good person who deserves good things. You just have to believe that you're a person who deserves the things all people deserve.
You can't get from "I'm the Worst" to "I'm a worthy and lovable person" without passing through "I'm just a regular fuckup like everybody else."
Try it on. If you're really addicted to being mean to yourself, you can start by framing it as I'm Not Special. Embrace being a regular fuckup like everybody else.

When I first read Men At Arms, I assumed Vimes was giving half his pay to the families of men who died under his command. I thought he felt responsible for them because he was their commanding officer. But that isn’t it at all.
Men At Arms

Night Watch

Men at Arms

Night Watch

These men fought or died in the revolution. Two we know for sure wore the lilac. Curry had to have survived long enough to have a daughter, and Gaskin wasn’t one of the infamous seven names. But I would bet good money Scurrick was a victim of the Dolly Sisters Massacre.

And whatever happened to Gaskin sounds like it involved a mob coming after a Watchman, based on these parts of Guards! Guards!

Anyways, I’m just going to be here crying about this, and I thought you all should, too.

reading and watching “classic” books and films is such an interesting experience because, before you get into them, when you only know them by name and maybe the vaguest plot outline, they’re intimidating and stuffy and up on a pedestal, but then you finally take the leap and check them out and realize that almost every story that’s achieved such a legendary level of popularity did so because something in its emotional core reached out and grabbed a lot of people by the throat and you are NOT immune.

imagine dealing w an international crisis involving precious artifacts and someone is like ‘don’t worry I know a guy’ and it’s a dorky connecticut college professor named henry who slips into his slutsona and suddenly he’s capable of saving the world w the power of his whip & fedora

I love it when the same character honorifics are basically used as a barometer for an evolving relationship over the course of a story.
"...Princess" (Derogatory)
"Princess." (You have disproven several of my previous assumptions but I'm still guarded and critical.)
"Princess," (Mildly impressed but still snarky)
"Princess," (I am coming to terms with how much your office has demanded of you and am finally considering you an equal)
"Princess," (I genuinely respect you, your office, and how much you have grown beyond it since we have met.)
"Princess." (Uh oh I've started catching feelings and am now using your title to remind both you and myself of the distance between us.)
"PRINCESS!" (You are in danger and I am now utterly devoted AND DOWN SO BAD.)

It took a lot for me to mature enough to accept a lot of the time you just don’t get closure like ill never understand why certain things happened or ever receive an apology or talk to certain people again or know the answers to questions I can’t ask and people die or leave or drift away sometimes and there’s no answer. and this is actually starting to sound like some doomer shit but im not joking when i say it actually became way easier to move on with my life when I accepted sometimes things will just be left wrong and can’t be made right and there’s no point in wasting any more of my time on it
