It is foolish and amusing how we think we can understand something as deep and elegant as human emotions. Science taught us everything has a reason, an action has an equal reaction and is that what makes us dumb enough to think we can decode humans? We cannot understand ourselves no matter how hard we try for what we feel and what we think. If he loved her so, why did he kill her? If his love were so great how could he kill his own wife? Othello the noble man. The loving, generous, kind man. The man so overcome by his mere emotions he killed his own world. Humans are intense and it is utter foolishness to think we can solve the mystery to human nature.

See enough and write it down, I tell myself, and then some morning when the world seems drained of wonder, some day when I am only going through the motions of doing what I am supposed to do... on that bankrupt morning I will simply open my notebook and there it will all be, a forgotten account with accumulated interest, paid passage back to the world out there...

“What I regret most in my life are failures of kindness. Those moments when another human being was there, in front of me, suffering and I responded… sensibly. Reservedly. Mildly.”

I love that we're still learning shit about this world we're in. Spiders sing? Fish chirp and enjoy tummy rubs? Trees feed each other? Mushrooms can talk. Rats giggle. Crows play games. If you leave a hamster wheel in the woods, mice will run in it. And despite all focus on the contrary, if you leave a handful of human beings alone with the opportunity to do good and be kind, they will. I love this Fucking planet so damn much
