also realised i never got around to doing a full rat introduction post on here, so

i currently have 6 rats, all girls

toast and pretzel are the eldest, at 1.5 years old, and they’re sisters!! they’re also my only current top eared rats. toast is soft, graceful, and likes being high up on my shoulder and being taken on adventures. pretzel is delicate, shiny, and insane. she’s very food motivated, loves her bed in the cage more than adventuring outside, and doesn’t like trying new things.

then, there are the four babies

the breakfast club!! i got these four dumbo girls in early may 2024, and they’re all nearly 1 year old now. pancake is the smallest and still looks like a baby. she’s very playful and sweet, and her life mission is to jump onto the sofa where she knows she’s not allowed. egg is mischievous, fluffy, and very beautiful. bagel and waffle are sooo silly and gentle, but love playing chase with toast

say hi to the breakfast club

here are my new additions: 4 baby dumbo rats, and hopefully once their quarantine period is over i can properly introduce them to their older sisters Toast and Pretzel.

soon i’ll do some proper pics of them where you can really see everyone’s faces, and i’ll be able to assign names to each rat, but for now, there’s Pancake, Waffle, Egg, and Bagel, and i love them so much
